    Hi BryantMkIV, I am glad that the regimen works for you. I've been down the same road as you have. Supplements, zinc, Omega-3, probiotics and on and on. I saw minor improvements but it was never 100%. How many times have you heard a girl say "I can have this soda or candy bar, I'll just run an extra 5 minutes at the gym to work it off."     I agree with you about trying to balance your omega 3 to 6. I add fermented cod liver oil along with plenty of fish every week.

    Avocados, eggs and olive oil are very healthy oils. Olive oil is best taken when it is cold pressed and organic obviously and never heated. Only saturated fats are good for actual cooking because the heat doesn't change the chemical composition of the fat and thereby not making it rancid. There were several studies that I red a while ago about the specific issue of saturated fats.     I have a plan for you to get 100% clear if you're interested. I am interested. But some things I cant do like eat all organic and grassed meats and etc all the time or even often. Unfortunately I do live in the modern world and I cannot stay in my house the whole time. I have school, work and other obligations that puts me in situations where I do have to eat out:) But I am more than open in hearing what else can be done?

    Yes and No to the OP. I am 33 and do avoid gluten, soy and most dairy consistently for over over 2 years now. I am definitely not 100% clear. But my skin is better with it. I am also "lucky" enough to have to constantly use B.P. in addition to the diet. lol And accutane and other drugs did not help me. At this point I wish I was one of those people that was 100% clear from diet and/or drugs to be honest. But now its sort of manageable with about 80% clear. I will take that I guess. lol

    You pretty much answered your own question. Livestock are fed gluten, soy, and anything else that they can't digest (aka allergens) to fatten them up. Going Gluten/Soy Free is extremely hard if your trying to eat the same way you have been your whole life. Your diet is full of holes. To find out which allergen is the culprit, you have tighten up your diet. You must gain control. Once you find it you can add the other foods back into your diet.     I have been avoiding gluten and soy for more than 2 years. I have also taken out dairy but have put it back to my diet because I don't see any difference. I don't drink milk because I don't tolerate it well. I have been suffering with acne for 20 years. I still have to use benzoyl peroxide despite avoiding all these irritants just to keep it clear 80% of time. I am sure I do get soy and gluten in very small amounts because I do eat out.     Yeah I don't really know what to do. Because my skin is getting better acne wise. But I don't want to damage my skin. It hasn't even been a month yet. I took another break from bp this morning. And will use bp at night today only on the areas where I still have acne and where it commonly occurs.

    So its been about 3 weeks. My acne is definetly better. I still have breakouts here and there. My dryness and flakiness is pretty severe. I have added jojoba oil to the acne.org moisturizer. I am wondering when the severe dryness and flakiness stops? I hope i am not permanently damaging my skin. My skin feels like sand paper! lol

    Yeah I agree with you. I am just trying to find out what best works for me:) I already found the right diet and supplements that work best for me for several years. Now I just have to add in the external part and see what works best for me. So for me its the combination. Of course once I am mostly clear (~90%), I will experiment with reducing bp. But for now bp is surprisingly making my face hurt a lot less along with reduction. I will try to remember to update this next month or two

    Just a little update Well after 12 days of adding in the regimen to my Paleo (plus carbs) diet I have seen about 50% improvement in my acne! My forehead is very dry and flaky but I think my skin is still getting used to the benzoyl peroxide 2.5%. I am okay with putting benzoyl peroxide at this dose because it is not damaging in the long run according to my "research". I am going to try to test this out 4 or 5 months in addition to my already healthy diet. I guess for some people it is no

    yeah I agree with you. I have not been using salicylic acid or the nenzoyl peroxide. I been using dr bronners for cleanser and complex 15 for moisturizer. But I ordered dan's cleanser and moisturizer to go along with my benzoyl peroxide gel. So maybe this time I won't be irritating as much.

    The diet you are doing is absolutely great to get clear skin although I feel sorry for you that have been fighting with acne for so long. It occurs to me as if your oil glands are very sensitive. So, the oiliness won't go. By taking Benzoyl Peroxide products you are drying up your skin excessively for which the oil glands will stimulate more oil to compensate for the dryness.
