  1. Hello. So over the past year or so, I have overused a bunch of harsh products on my face trying to get rid of acne, and basically ruined my barrier and damaged my skin. My face is always red, dehydrated, is sensitive, and I still get mild acne with some cysts. I recently used Epiduo for about 3 months, and it didn't completely get rid of my acne and the bp was too harsh for me, but I noticed that (the adapalene I presume), really evened out my skin tone, faded hyperpigmentation, and softened my
  2. For the past year or so I have been doing cardio off and on. I run a couple miles every other day or so. I immediately rinse and shower after. The thing I notice though is that during these periods of exercise my breakouts gets worse. I feel like something internally is making me breakout from the exercise? This is really a struggle for me because I want to exercise and isn't it suppose to help my skin in the first place? But when I stop excersising my acne seems to get better! Just some things
  3. Hello. My face is all sorts of messed up from way too many products like BHA and even a steroid cream. It's scaly looking, hyperpigmentated, and red. I also get a ton of pimples and little bumps all over my face. My nose is soo bad, it's dry and flakey but pours out oil constantly. Right now my face is mostly oily but it is still super rough and just weird. I'm looking for any advice and natural ways to repair it and get it back to it's normal state. I'm throwing out all basic products. I only w
  4. Hello. I started the caveman regimen two days ago. My forehead, nose, and chin are extremely oily so I've basically had just a layer of oil on my face. Today I was outside doing lawn work all day so I was sweating and getting dirt on my face, so that sat on my face for awhile. Then I went for a run and sweated a ton more and when i got home I took a shower and gently rinsed my face. An hour later I looked in the mirror and I have small pimples everywhere and some itchy weird rashes! I don't know
  5. Hello. What you need to know: - I have mostly dry skin and sometimes my t-zone will be oily. - Very acne-prone and sensitive. Haven't found a moisturizer that works for me. - Started using Desert Essence 100% pure Jojoba oil yesterday - Overnight and today I have gotten lots of clogged pores and tiny pimples all over my face. - My acne scars/redness did seem to fade though. - The Jojoba oil definitely feels greasy on me and does not seem to observe well. - It is almost as if the Jojob
  6. Definitely gonna do that patch test. I just swept through Walgreens and picked up some Desitin baby rash cream
  7. Yess I need to learn how to do this so I don't keep messing up my face. What kind of skin do you have though? What kind of zinc oxide product did you use? More info please (: thanks
  8. Hey everyone. I'll be quick about it. I recently discovered that 'zinc oxide' can be the stand-alone acne cure for some people. (Seems like most actually). These people use baby diaper rash creams and sunscreens with a zinc oxide percentage of 5 to 40 percent. I have been intrigued to try zinc oxide related products. Note, zinc oxide is recommended for oily skin-types. I have mostly dry, sensitive skin. So this is a risk, because I'm a bit desperate. (Arn't we all). Though the warmer clima
  9. I used desonide ointment 0.05% for a couple days on my entire face. Completely healed my dry, flaky face and acne. But pretty sure this is a steroid that you can't use for a long period. And it's expensive. What are the ingredients? Which ones help with my acne? I'm trying to find a product I could use that has the same ingredients. Any help, input, and thoughts are appreciated
  10. Hello. I would like to share this with everyone that is interested. I had an allergic reaction, contact dermatitis, on my face awhile ago. Made my entire face red, itchy, dry, and broke me out. Anyways, my mom gave me a product of hers, that she proclaimed was 'very expensive', called desonide ointment 0.05%. She said that it is for healing ezcema, rashes, and etc. A quick google search backed this up. I used it on my entire face. It is sticky and does not absorb. Could barely tell it
  11. Any background info or research you can give me? I'm sorry, but no. A quick google search will show you other people have the same experience though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_tree_oil You can use a little, so I think it's very friendly to the skin. God am I glad I tried it. How long have you been using it? And didnt you say you're using it that that photo machine. Yes. We are talking two places. I think both helps. It's a drastic change in a week. ok what is your routine? l

  14. Any background info or research you can give me? Ive heard about this product. Seems to be pretty good and you have options. Apparently the 1% isnt nearly as strong but the 2% probably wouldnt be god for sensitive skin. I think im gonna try out the 1% lotion. It is fairly cheap too.
