  1. Hello. So over the past year or so, I have overused a bunch of harsh products on my face trying to get rid of acne, and basically ruined my barrier and damaged my skin. My face is always red, dehydrated, is sensitive, and I still get mild acne with some cysts. I recently used Epiduo for about 3 months, and it didn't completely get rid of my acne and the bp was too harsh for me, but I noticed that (the adapalene I presume), really evened out my skin tone, faded hyperpigmentation, and softened my
  2. Hello. I started the caveman regimen two days ago. My forehead, nose, and chin are extremely oily so I've basically had just a layer of oil on my face. Today I was outside doing lawn work all day so I was sweating and getting dirt on my face, so that sat on my face for awhile. Then I went for a run and sweated a ton more and when i got home I took a shower and gently rinsed my face. An hour later I looked in the mirror and I have small pimples everywhere and some itchy weird rashes! I don't know
  3. Hello. What you need to know: - I have mostly dry skin and sometimes my t-zone will be oily. - Very acne-prone and sensitive. Haven't found a moisturizer that works for me. - Started using Desert Essence 100% pure Jojoba oil yesterday - Overnight and today I have gotten lots of clogged pores and tiny pimples all over my face. - My acne scars/redness did seem to fade though. - The Jojoba oil definitely feels greasy on me and does not seem to observe well. - It is almost as if the Jojob
  4. Definitely gonna do that patch test. I just swept through Walgreens and picked up some Desitin baby rash cream
  5. Yess I need to learn how to do this so I don't keep messing up my face. What kind of skin do you have though? What kind of zinc oxide product did you use? More info please (: thanks
  6. Hey everyone. I'll be quick about it. I recently discovered that 'zinc oxide' can be the stand-alone acne cure for some people. (Seems like most actually). These people use baby diaper rash creams and sunscreens with a zinc oxide percentage of 5 to 40 percent. I have been intrigued to try zinc oxide related products. Note, zinc oxide is recommended for oily skin-types. I have mostly dry, sensitive skin. So this is a risk, because I'm a bit desperate. (Arn't we all). Though the warmer clima
  7. Any background info or research you can give me? I'm sorry, but no. A quick google search will show you other people have the same experience though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_tree_oil You can use a little, so I think it's very friendly to the skin. God am I glad I tried it. How long have you been using it? And didnt you say you're using it that that photo machine. Yes. We are talking two places. I think both helps. It's a drastic change in a week. ok what is your routine? l

  9. Any background info or research you can give me? Ive heard about this product. Seems to be pretty good and you have options. Apparently the 1% isnt nearly as strong but the 2% probably wouldnt be god for sensitive skin. I think im gonna try out the 1% lotion. It is fairly cheap too.
  10. I've also read that oils can clog your pores. I don't know if i wanna risk that. Could you give me background info on your skin type and acne type and anything else? Ok what is your skin type? Update me in the future though
  11. Ok so I have managed to get rid of deep painful pimples through a healthy diet and lifestyle! All i have left is very stubborn comedonal acne. Small white bumps and blackheads. Along with hyperpigmentation. I get them pretty much everywhere on my face except my cheeks and temples. They are the worst on my t-zone, around my mouth, and my chin. They last forever, and when i try to squeeze them out, they just come back or turn in actual pimples. I have pretty sensitive and dry skin. All na
  12. Yes this is a very announced topic amongst acne sufferers. Healing your gut ultimately heals your skin, due to the gut-skin axis. It makes complete scientific sense and i do believe it. Though, when i did heal my gut after 2 months of daily probiotic, enzyme, and stomach acid intakes, my acne did not go away. I use to have daily bloating and cramps, and i got rid of them! But my acne did not go away. So maybe it does not work for everyone, or i did not fully heal my gut. I am going to starting t
  13. The Paleo Diet is 100% natural unprocessed foods. So no, no dairy. It is one of, if not thee, most healthy diet(s). And yes i only eat grass-fed meat. Go ahead and google it. I've been doing it for half a year now and plan on continuing it my whole life. Just through changing to a healthy diet, i no longer get deep pimples on my cheeks and jaw, neck, back, chest, and buttocks. But i still get hormonal acne, such as comedonal and blackheads on my forehead, t-zone, nose, and chin. My shaving
  14. Its singular pimples, Also, might I add. Since I live in a dorm on the weekdays since im in college, would I be better off taking a multi-vitamin? Vegetables are very hard to get here, but I do have a large supply of fruits. The food I eat is microwaved from home, I cook them at home then freeze them (most of the vegetables in there are carrots and potatoes). I'd also like to add that I eat brown rice as well as whole wheat bread with peanut butter. Would you recommend I stop peanut butte
  15. hormonal acne is around mouth , lips and jawline if you have it on your cheek then improving your diet will help alot Agreed. From changing to an all natural diet, the big deep pimples i got on my cheeks that would last for a week, stopped occurring. As for my acne around my mouth and on my chin, i do believe it is hormonal. It's mostly comedonal acne (small white bumps under skin) and blackheads. What is the best way to cure hormonal acne? @overfl00d Ok i already ordered BTT and
