  1. Well, heres the deal. I've been breaking out ever since 7th grade, and now I am a junior in high school. My freshmen year, I broke out severely bad on my cheeks and had scars for quite a while, and they have finnally almost diminished. Lately, all of a sudden, I've been breaking out everywhere all over my face with stupid whiteheads, and when I touch my face I feel disgusted because it seems so rough. Not that I pick at it, I know that's a big no no of course.... Anyway, like everyone else says,
  2. How is this supposed to help oil then? I mean... if you open your pores then more oil is just bound to come out. Thats what I figure.
  3. Ughh, I know how you feel! My skin is extremely oily too... in the morning I'll go to school and about 3 hours later my face will be pretty dang oily. It's embarassing and unnessasary. I'd love to stop the oiliness too. The funny thing is that my face is not oily in the morning when I wake up... so maybe I'm just so oily because of my foundation. I don't know, its a mystery.
  4. I was hoping someone could lend me suggestions to fix my issue. I have had acne since about the 7th grade, and I am a sophomore in high school now. I must say that my acne has cleared up... but I still have some tiny bunches of acne bunched up along my hair line (I have no idea why, but oh well, probably stress). For the past year, my face has became REALLY oily. I do wash my face twice a day, and use alot of BP at night. I don't know how it could get so oily. One of my friends even points it ou

  6. i used retin-a for a while, and it didn't do a damn thing for me, hehe.
  7. My derm said I could use BP still, but it may cause irritation. Since he said it is an irritation being put ontop of another irritation. I may just try that though, so I won't break out AS much. I am thinking I may just apply this to my problem area, and thats my cheeks.
  8. i have been on dan's basic BP regimen since the beginning of april. this has cleared me up very well... but i have several red marks left over from the acne. i went to the dermatologist today and he told me that i should try Retin-A to get rid of these red marks. he was very breif about this but i figured i could give it a shot so i went to the pharmacy and filled the prescription. now i am reading the reviews on it and i am a bit scared. i don't want to go back to being broke out, and the reg
  9. Haha... you've been posting on my forum as well. My face has always been really red and irritated... ever since I began having the slightest traces of acne. Its really a mystery to me... I tell ya what... I'm going to the derm soon. I'm going to ask him about my redness and redmarks. If I get a good reasonable answer I'll fill you in with that information. I'm fair skined too, so the slightest bit of irritation is really noticeable on me for some reason...
  10. thanks fo much for all of the advice guys! Okay, since I've posted, I have dropped the scarzone out completly. That was making my face burn, and have a weird feeling to it, such as not even being able to open my mouth fully. The flakiness is GONE... so one thing is eliminated. I didn't know Loreall Infallible would be that bad for my face, and honestly it doesn't break me out at all. I will switch foundations though. I've been using that one for about a year now though, but Im going to look into
  11. thank you so much for replying! I thought no one would even read it for a minute... so thank you!! I thought the Cetaphil Cleanser was reccomended for this regimen? I guess I will swap over to the purpose bar... do you use that one as well? Im trying not to overly dry out my face... thats the last thing I need. I will swap over to that then... thank you for informing me! When I do use foundation I use Loreall (sp?) Infallible... since its summer break I haven't been using it much. So I have
  12. it could be hormonal, because when im on my period i get TONS of little whiteheads bunched up like on my chin.... ugh i hate it and they take about 2 weeks to go away...lol.
  13. Hello. I am a 15 year old girl, suffering with acne. It's hard to be in high school and be involved when acne can be so embarrassing and it lowers my self confidence. I really would love to try reduce it, well of course everyone would. Anyway, here is my story and the troubles I have been having, with pictures included that I just took minutes ago. I started the CSR regimen back in the middle of April I would say. I started out with the generic Walmart brand of Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, Neutro
  14. Hey I'm about 2.5 months into the regimen and its finnally starting to work well. I don't get HUGE zits anymore, just whiteheads and thats a big improvement for me. I am also using Scarzone in my regimen, and its not making me break out, it just helps with the post acne marks dramatically! I'm happy! I hope it doesn't backfire and get worse again... and I went swimming in our lake yesterday and for some reason my face looked really clear afterwards. Thats odd! I just wanted to post about this si
  15. I use Scarzone and it works pretty well!
