  1. I'm totally lost and depressed at this point I think the problem happened after my use of epiduo but basically I have a wrinkly orange peel looking texture on my cheeks ... After I exfoliate my skin looks raw& shiny for about two days then it actually looks good but then after a while it builds up a lot of dead skin on my cheeks but honestly I'd pick the dead skin build up over the raw looking old skin but still I'm at a lost on what to do..the build up is so apparent on my cheeks and nose b
  2. Ok..so my skin is really messed up..whenever I try exfoliating my skin gets raw and a orange peel like texture but after about three days it looks good then builds up a lot of dead skin .. Which I'm forced to exfoliate then the bad texture comes back seriously it makes me look old cause it's a wrinkly texture then after three days I look young I'm just wondering what's the cause of this ?.. I do also get sebum plugs on my lower half of my face but honestly I'd rather have dull skin then deal wit
  3. Exactly what I'm going through some days I look as young as 15 but whenever I exfoliate to remove the heaps of dead skin build up and flakes I look like I'm way older it really frustrating and really hurts my self confidence some days I shut myself in the house cause I'm ashamed of going out I just don't understand why I get dead skin build up like this and whenever I remove it I use a washcloth lightly to scrub and I still end up with wrinkly big pores and oily skin for a couple days till it he
  4. I'm confused on how to safely remove dead skin without upsetting my skin because when I scrub my skin with washcloth or hands my skin turns into a oily mess and my pores look huge and I do it very gently as well any tips guys?
  5. I have sensitive and when I decide to exfoliate since it's recommended I use rag and lightly scrub face until all the flakes and dead skin are gone but then my face gets really oily looking and wrinkly for about 3 days then I look young again but I don't get what's the problem shouldn't exfoliating make you look younger?
  6. I use noxzema deep cleansing and thank you I have normal skin yes but when I scrub I look a lot older for about 3 days until my skin repairs itself
  7. I had a few clogged pores so like a dummy I decided to scrub my face with a washcloth now my skin looks so aged! It's a bunch of big pores and some are like connected to each other but this always happens when I decide to scrub my face..I don't know what it is...but after 3 days my skin looks normal but how come my skin looks so old after exfoliating I thought it was suppose my skin look younger ! And I'm as gentle as possible with the washcloth
  8. Idk if I'm washing my face wrong or something but I wash my face and it'll be good for a week then my face is completely clogged I do however rush washing my face like I just put it on I don't even massage it like recommended I just slather it on and take it off and when I scrub my face with washcloth to get rid of the clogged pores my face gets horribly irritated
  9. I'm so confused about exfoliation because whenever I do I get irritation the skin on my cheeks look like a orange peel kind of texture and my pores become so big..and I exfoliate like once a week like you're suppose too so it isn't over exfoliation I'm just thinking about just not exfoliating at all and I do apply moisturizer after exfoliating I tried exfoliating with washcloth, fingers, and heck even a q-tip all leads to irritation
  10. Whenever I exfoliate with a washcloth I'm gentle as possible but still my face gets irritated it gets really oily and I see fine lines that weren't there before...I even tried with my fingers I had same results chemical exfoliates do same thing..so I decided to massage gentle cleanser morning and night and no irritation but will this keep dead skin away ? what I do is splash lukewarm water on face then massage cleanser then when it's all off I splash face with cool water
  11. Just two times is enough and be sure to pat dry not rub plus dryness does contribute to breakouts cause when your face is dry your oil glands go crazy which is bad.
  12. Okay I know this is weird but hear me out I haven't exfoliated for a week and I'm amazed at how much my face improved one thing I noticed is my skin isn't oily at all another thing is fine lines have disappeared too my face looks younger but when I do exfoliate my face gets fine lines around mouth, skin is really oily, and I break out and yes I do moisturize after exfoliation I know this might sound weird but try not exfoliating for bit it might help I think what happens is when you exfoliate yo
  13. Okay so my friend at work gave me a tip saying i should let my face air dry for a better complexion and smaller pores she also said end showers cold and rinse face in cold water after cleansing but since i've been doing this my face has been covered with clogged pores and flaky skin so i'm like confused I don't think it's the cold water since i've been using it before she told me to air dry but what do you think is it better to pat dry or air dry? thanks for your comments
