Thinking about accutane... any opinions?
Missa Brevis replied to Burnout's topic in Prescription acne medications
In my opinion, if you have back/chest/along with face and or neck acne, its pretty severe. I define moderate as just quite a bit of active facial acne. First try some form of oral antibiotic, and if your not satisfied, then accutane. -
They should go away, but you still get those little tiny one's, that even a digital camera couldn't even hardly pick up. /

You should notice your face getting better 2-3 months into use of tetra. I was on it for 3 months, it made my face 98 percent clear. Take it ONLY with water. And make sure you take it on a complete empty stomach. Take it 1-2 hours after meal, or a half hour-1 hour before a meal. And avoid dairy products 2 hours before taking it and 3 hours after.

Oil is pretty natural on any face. -

Missa Brevis replied to Ljtanner2's topic in Prescription acne medications

Depression after Accutane
Missa Brevis replied to hopefullyyours's topic in Prescription acne medications
Its psychological, you know the stories about depression and you're associating it with accutane. I'm sorry, but I'm a very big dissbeliever of depression and accutane. -
That teeth side effect is only mainly seen in children.

Are these scars, simple redmarks, or acne?
Missa Brevis replied to Missa Brevis's topic in Scar treatments
That's what I thought. I guess I've won one part of the battle, now onto the next. -
http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p...868&uid=1995980 I have more or less that on my right and left, and along my neck area. Yet, when I rub my hands over my face, it feels very smooth, like nothing is there. I am still on tetra, considering accutane, if this is acne.

I'm curious to see how you will improve, I had similar acne as you have right now.
