  1. This cyst has been on my face for almost 5 years. I really need to know what I can do to get over it. I have never been able to accept the fact that it is there, and that it will always be red, and noticeable. In fact almost every day for the past 4 years, I have covered it up with make up, so I can feel confident in my day to day life. But soon I will be heading to college (I graduate high school in two weeks) and I really want to turn a new leaf in my life and not worry about it anymore and be

    Red Spot Cover Up Ideas?

I am a 17 year old male and I have a single cyst on my right cheek. It has been there for 3 and a half years and it is very bothersome to me. The cyst is not very raised, but at times it can get very red. Every day I wash my face with a clearasil wash twice a day (sometimes three) and every other day I exfoliate with a st Ives scrub. I also put retin-a on the spot every night a minute or two after I wash my face and then I put cetaphil on it right after as well. In the morning I wash my face and

Yes I did conceal it. I am mainly trying to have it look completely gone and not visible for when we slow dance with each other up close

Prom In One Week, Cyst On Right Cheek

I'm got it injected twice when it formed a long time ago. My derm said that cortisone shots are for cysts that are inflamed and not just there
  5. Hello acne.org members! I am a 17 year old male and my prom is in one week. I have a cyst on my right cheek that has been there for almost 3 and a half years and it still hasn't left. It has a little bit of rise to it, but it is mainly just a red mark now. For the past 2 or so years I have put on several different types of concealer a to try and hide it. Some have worked, but eventually stop working and instead look crusty and dry. I am currently using a cover girl under eye balm thingy, but it

    The Importance Of Vitamin A

Would using cetaphil every morning and night count as having oily skin? Cause my face is very shiny and not smooth to the touch every day, built I'm not sure if it because of the cetaphil

My Skin After 7 Weeks Of Epiduo.

How long were you on retina? I have been on a new retina prescription for about four months, but it hasn't really locked in all the way. How does epiduo work for you and how was retina for you?
  8. I am a 17 year make and I take two cephalexin a day (sometimes one, but I try to take two) and it smells disgusting. As soon as I open the bottle a wave of rotten sulfur smell hits my nose. I am wondering if because I take this medication it is causing me to smell bad like the medication. How would I know? And is it possible for this to happen?
  9. Hello everyone I am a 17 year old male and my junior prom is coming up. The girl I asked is so beautiful and you guessed it...she said yes recently, my acne has seemed to be a lot better. For the past few weeks my breakouts (mainly on my cheeks and chin area) have been at a minimum. But within the past few days it seems like it is trying to make a comeback. My routine hasn't changed in the past few weeks either (wash face twice daily, use retin-a at night, and take two cephalexin per day) alt
  10. I am a 17 year old male and I have had moderate acne for about 3 years. About 3 years ago a single cyst about the size (roundness) of my pinkie thumbprint, (sorry not very specific) appeared on my right cheek. I went on accutane 2 years ago and it got rid of everything right away. About a year ago my acne started flaring up again and now the cyst has made a come back. I wash my face twice a day, use retin-a every night, and take cephalexin twice a day. I am wondering if there is any way to get r
  11. I am 17 and I have dealt with acne ever since 6th grade. It got so bad in 8th grade that I started using Accutane, which cleared it all up within 6 months. Now I am a junior and my acne has been an issue for the past year or so. I take cephalxin daily and I use retin-a every night as well. My acne is not very bad, (maybe a few new small pimples once every one to two weeks) but the real issue is my scarring. The pimples I get usually leave scars that can stay for many weeks at a time. Now to my m
