  1. Keep us updated please. I live i nNew York City and don't have a showerhead filter, so I'm not sure if it's hard water. Let us know how the results are so far, I'll probably give this a try!
  2. alterativista is correct, that caveman regimen is awful. I never tried it, but it sounds so disqusting - why leave oils that are actually one of the causes of acne AND on top of that leaving dead skin cells on your face. What I do is just wash your face with warm water first, then wash it with cold water to close pores. I do not use any cleansers because it's so irritating and harsh on my skin. My skin has been much beter because of this. Oh, also exfoliate once or twice a week maximum. It helps
  3. It might be the soap gel you mentioned. I used to always use a cleanser on my face, but it always seemed to dry my skin really bad. I've stopped using cleansers for around 5 months now and my face isn't as oily! It gets oily but it's due to temperature around me. Anyways, you could always stop using cleansers for awhile to see if it makes any difference. I just clean my face warm water, then cold water - twice a day. only clean your face with water more than twice if you're sweating from a worko
  4. Those are probably dead skin cells. Try exfoliating twice a week. They always come back for me, but exfoliating greatly reduces them. try that.
  5. You can start exfoliating 2 times a week, that could help. Also, you should go out into the sun for a minimum of 15 minutes everyday to get vitamin D. This helps forehead acne, alot. Drink alot of water aswell.
  6. Your diet looks really good. But if i had to make suggestions i would say drop the peanut butter and try going completely paleo for 3 months. Green smoothies are also a great thing to add. Do you have pictures of your acne? Also, what's your skin care regimen like? I eat natural peanut butter only about once or twice a week (small servings) and what is completely paleo apart from my diet already? I also tried green smoothies for about 2 weeks and saw now improvement. No, no pictures yet but
  7. Hi, First thing you should do is try to minimize washing your face to just twice a day. Washing more than twice can overdry. Second thing, get enough sleep if possible. Try to aim for 8 hours, though the amount of hours varies per person. Third thing, drink more water. Aim for 2 liters+ a day (8 glasses), it doesn't have to be all at once, but just drink that throughout the day. Fourth thing, diet: instead of sugary drinks like sodas, juices, etc. replace it with water. If you want drink green
  8. Deleveop a exfoliating regimen. It seems like you have deadskin that you should remove by exfoliating.

  10. It seems like a few of the products you use contain dairy. Try to stay away from dairy for a few weeks (suggestively 6 weeks) and see if you see any improvement. The majority of people breakout from dairy because of the hormones from cows. Give it a shot, and if it works, continue. My acne has gotten 70% lighter and I barely breakout. That is, unless I have a cheat day with cookies or pizza. Give it a try!
  11. Never heard of it, but I suggest googling the products and finding reviews on different websites from user feedback!
  12. I'm not sure if Rosacea patients are the only one's that get redness from harsh cleansers but it might be the cleanser. The cleanser might be irritant to your face (but still im happy its working for you!), to reduce the redness you can get ice and just put it on your face for around 2 mins on each spot(s). That's how I do it for my Rosacea atleast, so I'm sure it'll work for you too.
  13. You could always use your hand - which is probably your best option. What you do is glide your hand around your face in slow circular motions. Be as gentle up to the point where you aren't technically touching your face, just gently exfoliating your face. Try that.
  14. You can touch money as long you don't touch your face right after. The only time you should ever touch your face is when you know it's sanitzed by washing your hands or using hand sanitizer. Never touch your face unless it's clean, or you will spread loads of bacteria.
  15. Exercise, meditate, do sports, do what you love to do - basically do anything to keep your mind off stress. Get plenty of sleep (if you can) and just try to avoid any stressful situations. Good luck
