  1. Hey guys, Since my last blog entry I have only been suffering with acne in the corner of my forehead. I get small bumps on my jawline but nothing major and I treat them with a face mask(as a spot treatment). My updated skincare routine is as follows: PM: acne.org cleanser clearogen cleanser (daily) Acv toner pixi glow tonic tone ole henrikson night treatment la roche duo and H moisturiser Sunday riley artemis (amazing oil but hurts my bank account) Products I use sparingly: Alp

Oh gosh thanks for this info so handy. My entire face is 90% with the exception of the right top hand corner of my forehead. It's so bizarre!! It calms down completely then flares up a couple week a later. I have epiduo so may try it as a spot treatment but generally Bp doesn't agree with me. The flare ups go within a few days if I don't touch them. I feel like I've gone full circle ...forehead acne, full blown hormonal cheeks chin everywhere and now back to forehead which suits me fine. Thanks
  3. Hey gurl, they serve different purposes in my opinion. EPO is great for hormonal balance i take 1000-3000mg per day (usually 1000). I've had no bad side effects and I feel like it has worked although I know everyone hates hearing this but is does take months. Seabuckthorn is rich in Omega 7, helps inflammation and redness and makes my skin feel softer. I take one a day from the sibu brand and the occasional drop of oil in my moisturiser. This is from experience. Both serve a great purpose. I
  4. Hey, ive been using epo for about a year and a half now. I use 1000mg daily internally and a drop in my moisturiser in the evening. This stops my tzone from getting oily during the day. I up my dosage to 2000mg per day around ovulation until the first day of my period. I find it calms my skin and helps with inflammation. with regards to sea buckthorn oil. I've only been using it for 2 days but my face looks pretty smooth with less oil. I can't comment tho it's only been 2 days. Using th
  5. Hi guys, Another day, another dollar. I'm currently at work on a Friday afternoon and thought hmmm I haven't updated my "blog" in a while. Obviously when we have a breakout, we jump onto google/acne.org in the hopes of finding an answer. I'm just going to paste my skincare routine from my prev blog entry & then add some notes. This is less boring then reading paragraphs. Just to update you though, my acne has now shifted from my cheeks (relieved not to have to deal with constant cysts) -
  6. Hey guys, long time no speak. I can't believe it's been nearly 6 months since I posted on here. So I want to get straight into it. Here's an updated skin routine then I'll go into some details, some things have changed some haven't. Here goes: AM acne.org cleanser ACV toner Cetaphil moisturiser Smashbox Light Primer....makeup etc PM - post make up removal acne.org cleanser clearogen cleanser ACV toner La Roche Posey Effaclar Duo+ Cetaphil with a drop of EPO Spot treatments (sparingly) sudocr
  7. Hey, thanks for your comment. With regards to differin, BP and any drying agent, I've come to the conclusion that my skin rejects these. I moisturise well after but I seem to develop a horrible rash all over my neck and arms when I use these. SA is bare able i still use the clearogen cleanser and sulfur all day everyday works and doesn't dry me out (De la cruZ). since my last post I've suffered from hormonal acne around my TOM and a few pimples here and there. Every few months I get the odd
  8. Hey guys So since we last spoke (I spoke you read) I felt as though clearogen was being way too harsh on my skin so I made some changes. I'll go into my current routine later on. On Friday I had an appointment with a new derm... He told me my acne is probably genetic (even though it's clearly around my jawline and was caused by Yasmin one would think its hormonal hmmm). We did speak for about 45mins (my apologies to the people waiting for their appointment after me). He suggested roaccutane t

    Used for years

    Used for years

Iv used this on and off for years. I prefer revlon over Mac pro longwear. I think a lot of the work is in the application and not the foundation itself. Great coverage. I don't think it's has broken me out. My only con is compared to etsee Lauder which I just switched to, this sinks into your pores come 6 hours of wear.

I used this for the first time in November, after which I experienced the worst breakout of my life so I packed it in..... End of December I picked it up again and won't put it back down. I suffer from cystic hormonal acne. I currently have 2tiny pimples and some old scarring. Today I mixed this with green tea and vitamin C tablets and I'm feeling great!! I aim to use this twice a week with braggs acv but sometimes I only get enough time for one a week. Leaves my skin feeling soft and cle
  11. So after seeking a second opinion from my trusted GP he advised not to go on Accutane next week. I explained to him that all the listed side effects I currently experience so imagine what it would do to me... I get flaking skin (which has calmed down since coming off epiduo), dry lips, joint pain and not to mention a stressful job. I Know I know Im scared and trying to talk myself out of going through. Funnily enough in the past month my skin has really started to clear. I'll post my curren
  12. So last week I went to the derm. I went with no make up, I figured I could hop in and out of my car so I wouldn't need to see anyone. As I predicted my skin wouldn't be looking too bad so I kept a photo diary for the month leading up to my appointment. She took a look at the photos and we decided roaccutane would be the best route. I've done a lot of research for the past year so I feel like I'm ready. I'll probably post a new entry at the end of jan which is when my first appointment is
  13. I've named today day 0 because tomorrow is my first visit to a hospital derm. Now the bit that I always find a bore so I'll keep it quick. I've had acne since I was about 15. But not the kind I have now. I used to get pimples and cysts on the forehead only. I went in various contraceptive pills to get rid of it. About a year ago I went to my GP and she prescribed Yasmine - Yasmin is the reason I have the acne I have today - all over my cheeks, jawline and chin. It did however get rid of any

It's been 4 days since I've started using this. My skin was beyond dry and peeling on day 2/3 but that seems to be clearing slightly. I have notice my T Zone is a lot clearer no huge breakouts and great texture. I'm curious to see what's next ...

Less bloated T-Zone clear HORRIBLE PAINFUL ACNE Leg cramps Nausea I know a lot of reviews are saying wait it out but I'm on to week 3 and I've never had acne like this before. I refuse to leave the house!! ...and new deep, red, painful, cystic spots on my chin and jawline are being added by the second. Not to mention the nausea I experienced and cramp I had in my legs. Not worth it! I'm stopping today. I used another BC which made my skin flawless but I looked 6 months preg with the bloating and
