  2. Hey all, Ive been away for ages, still struggling with acne. Took accutane awhile ago and cleared me but then breakouts kept coming. Have recently been trying a natural regimen using teatree oil too which made my skin clear but all of sudden I have two big inflamed sore spots. Question is really I normally get them on my forehead, I did use the regimen ages ago but didnt really stick to it. Does the regimen help red inflamed spots (that rarely come to a head that can be squeezed), that is t
  3. Hi, Ive been on 30mg accutane for 2 weeks now, since taking accutane my skin has been some of the worst its been. It isnt dry but my lips are very dry. Before accutane the regimen was good, it worked for me keeping the acne at bay, I went onto to accutane because I wanted to try and get to the source of the problem. Can I use the regimen whilst on accutane?, I feel it wil lstop the breakouts I am getting now whilst the accutane works my face isnt overally redder or dryer than normal. At the

  5. Hi I started accutane 4 days ago, and have been using hidromol cream as a soap. However it has liquid paraffin in which I hear is pore blocking. I still have some of dans cleaner and moisturiser, can I use this whilst on accutane instead of the hidromol and do you think it would work. Regards

  8. Hi im 28 male and Im abit worried I hope somebody can put my mind at rest I started accutane today at 30mg dose. After I took it I felt the need urinate alot, alot more than normal. Is this normal?, I read one of the side effects about accutane is diabetes (urinating alot (like every hour at the moment ), but Im not overly thirsty). Anybody who has experience accutane ,as Ive never took it before, who could give me some advice would be ace. Ive not got diabetes or never had it (but it does ru

  10. Hi, its been a long while since ive posted but I find my self in a situation. Im 27 battled with acne since 13 tried everything even tried regimen in past which worked a bit. I know BP helps, but I recently blew loads of dosh on dermalogica the lady said I had spots as my skin was too dry, true my skin is dry but greasy sometimes and shiny. I got a b.p 5% dermalogica product and a salyclic acid product and gentle cleanser and moisturiser. My skin was bad b4 now its worse (I have not used
  11. Hi Dan and Joel, I dont know if this has been flagged before but there is a spelling mistake on the new site(love it bytheway). In the acne step one the below is published "Hey Everybody. I made the Acne in Plain English pages of acne.org so that so that you can learn about how acne forms, and then dispell acne myths, and finally get some personalized advice. " Get rid of the of one of the 'so thats' in "so that so that you can learn about how acne forms," Great site bytheway, love the web d
  12. I cannot believe what Joebo is saying, everybody is entitled to their opinion, but Dan made this site before he even produced his own bp gel. There was only one bp on the market in America at that point and that was OTS. His BP gel is very good, it has changed a bit, it used to make my skin red for about 15 minutes they die down, now it doesnt. The lack of knowledge you show regarding it as an inferior product because it has to be used twice daily is ludicrous. It is 2.5%, it is used twice
  13. Right, you have fair and sensitive skin Eucerin with 5% Urea has lactic acid so cant make your skin red whilst you get used to it. Some people have probs with Benzyl alcohol, it is one of the best preservatives for cosmetics out there but can irritate if you have very sensitive skin. I would use OTS cream or speak to your derm about what other b.p cream there is (there are others than ots available). Then use it once a day at night whilst your skin gets used to it. Once it has use it in morni
  14. Hi, Dont worry too much about the dryness associated with the regimen. Jojoba oil is great and there are many different ways you can incorpirate it into your regimen. Dont worry about the make up issue also my girlfriend praises the regimen and she says using jojoba makes it even easier to put on. Ultimately you will havge clear skin and if you do experience dryness it wil lonly be for a short while whilst you get used to bp. Hope this helps
