I like reading, writing, spending time with friends, driving around aimlessly, pretending I'm a dog, and making random noises. I'm easily amused. Some would say it's a bad thing, but look at it this way: I spend a lot less time being bored. I enjoy watching the ocean and staring at stars... I've been told that I talk in my sleep and if I could I'd enjoy that too. I like making people smile when they're sad. I like making people laugh when they're crying. I say it's corny, they say it's memorable. I like saying words over and over again until they sound funny. IMPORTANT. IMPORTANT. IM-POR-TANT. IMPORTANT. IMPORTANT. See?<br />Feel free to message me at any time... I'm always open to talking to new people about whatever. By the way of my profile, I probably sound weird... but I really really am. Just kidding.
  1. Hey Yoym, thanks for the suggestion... I could never do it though. Beaches here are so crowded, and swimming/tanning without a shirt is just out of the question for me. I bought pure sea salts, so hopefully that will help with that part in the bath. My brother's apartment has a patio which is completely private but still gets sun, so hopefully that will cover that part.
  2. Yeah definitely give it at least a month... I'm sure you'll be amazed.
  3. Hey Yankulov, thanks for your reply. I use all natural shampoos and soaps and now I'll start using non-chemical lotions. Do you know if their is a non-chemical sunscreen?
  4. 2 and a half years ago I posted about Desert Essence "Thoroughly Clean Face Wash". I don't know if anyone else has tried this face wash, but for me it is absolutely the best. I probably go through a bottle every 2 months at about $6 a bottle. I've been using much of it for body acne also... though it doesn't seem to help much with that. I'm guessing it's not strong enough for my back, seeing as though your face is more sensitive toward soaps. I've found that over time it works best if I wash wi
  5. Hi, I'm 23 years old... I've had bacne since I was 14 or 15. Much of it is scarred but I do get breakouts here and there. They definitely range, but overall I'd say it's severe. I had a consultation for laser surgery when I was 16... it was $3,000 a session and he said it would take at least 3 sessions. My mom agreed to it, but I just couldn't have her spend $9,000 on my insecurity (that's like the price of some plastic surgery, and this wasn't even guaranteed). Anyway, I haven't taken my shirt
  6. Maybe I'm just dense, I don't know... but how to you figure it's 300mg when the bottle says it's 1000mg?
  7. I've been doing the apple cider vinegar thing for about a week now... and I mixed 50/50 with water in an old proactiv toner bottle. I found earlier today that now there's a stench in the bathroom, and even gnats (fruit flies, which normally come around when you have old fruit in the kitchen). And I keep the bottle closed at all times and in the medicine cabinet. So is this a sign that my mixture is going bad or something? Are you supposed to mix a little bit each night or something? Please help!
  8. I'm 21, and I've had mild/moderate acne on my face for years now. Not too bad, not completely unbearable... not as clear as I would like, but I just learned to live with it. I was on Proactiv for some time, which I believe kept it on the more mild side... I think it would have been much worse without it. Anyway, at the recommendation from my friend, I started trying this stuff called "Thoroughly Clean Face" by Desert Essence. Along with that, I started using Apple Cider Vinegar as a toner and I
  9. No, the commercial was for something like Olay Regenerist (for old ladies... it's sad that I see these kind of things and wonder if it would help for my skin). But I did come across AcneFree Scar Fade & Erase here last night, and from what I heard I think I'm gonna get it... if it will help my scars and it's only $20 then it's definitely worth it. Do you know how many ounces it is? Because I'd mainly be using it on my back, which has barely any active acne anymore but some red marks and scar
  10. I can understand your desperation... but it's really drastic. Think of how long it takes to become a doctor/plastic surgeon (I don't know, like 8-10 years I think). And all of a sudden you wake up and you're like "I'm gonna do what they do" ... you could find a plastic surgeon and ask him, and I don't think he would be able to explain it to you in a way that you could successfully do it yourself.
  11. I always see ads for creams that "make your skin regenerate faster, giving you new skin", stuff like that... and I'm wondering if this is actually possible, or if even there's any other way to do this. I think someone once told me that it takes something like 7 years for your skin to completely regenerate (naturally anyway). Also has anyone tried Vitamin E oil, I bought pure Vitamin E oil today and am going to start applying it to red spots and scars. Or has anyone tried any "scar fading" produc
  12. So how do you find the pH levels in different kinds of products?
  13. I hear people talking about pH balanced products, like head and shoulders shampoo, that are better for your skin. But what exactly is pH, and what does it mean to be balanced? I tried looking it up on Wikipedia, but it was all too scientific and I couldn't find the answers I was looking for. The only interesting thing I got out of it was that healthy skin is 5.5 on the pH scale. And the scale is 1-10... so what is balanced, would it be 5? And how do you know if something is pH balanced? Why is t
  14. I have a bottle, but I haven't started taking it yet... now I'll definitely start though. How many mg do you take a day? And how many mg of EPA and DHA does yours have (it should say on the facts on the back of bottle)? Thanks.
