  1. My derm suggested Yaz and I've been taking them for two weeks. Anyone else taking birth control to improve their acne?
  2. Almay liquid makeup is pretty good and it's oil free.

    I'm on Accutane
  4. I'm not really having trouble with breakouts. Accutane has been good for me. The only breakouts I've had after accutane have been only like 2 or 3... very small pimples. This is the only one that I have actually had trouble with. For some reason, I always get a pimple in that same spot. Anyway, I took 30 mg my first month, 60 mg the next two months and 80 mg my last month (it was by choice, my derm wanted to give me 60 mg but I asked for 80). So yeah, 4 months in total.
  5. Gahh! I thought it would work in hours. I hope it works in less than 24 hrs and thanks.
  6. If this is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it. Alright so I have been off Accutane for about 2 months now and I just got a zit about a week ago-- it started off as just a small whitehead but now it's getting bigger and it's really bugging me. I am going out tonight and don't want to have that thing on my face. So my question is: Would a cortisone shot really help? I am supposed to be going to my doctor at 2:00 PM today. Will the pimple shrink? And if so, in how many hours?
  7. I always wore makeup when I went to see my derm. He didn't mind but did ask me to not wear makeup during my last visit (I was on Accutane)
  8. I would recommend you use self tanner for the white leg. I'm hispanic but I never wear skirts, so my legs are a little lighter... and now that I want to wear skirts, I have to use self tanner. I use the Jerges natural glow and it doesn't look fake at all.
  9. My whole family pretty much has perfect skin. I think I was the only one that ever had acne. Now it's gone thanks to Accutane, though.
  10. Okay so I just got done with my 4 month treatment. I took my last pill April 1st and now, 3 weeks later, I've gotten two small whiteheads (one not-so-small on my cheek) and I'm freaking out. I don't want it to get like last time when my skin was TERRIBLE. I don't know what to do. Any advice?
  11. I was scared at first too but my acne was pretty bad so I took Accutane and now I'm clear.
  12. Proactiv worked for me. The results were preatty amazing.... I mean, I would apply the stuff at night and in the morning, I could see my pimples literally shrinking. But then it stopped working.
  13. iPledge is the most annoying, moronic idea anyone ever had.
  14. Okay, so I just convinced my derm to put me on 80mg a day and I am starting my 4th and last month of Accutane. I'm 19, 5'2" and I weigh 117 lbs. So here are my questions: Is 80 mg too much for me? Also, should I take the pills one in the morning and one at night or one right after the other? The reason I'm asking is because when I was on 60mg, I would take one pill right after the other after a meal.
