What was the vitamin B5 dosage you all were taking before? Is anybody experiencing shedding from regular B complex that contains relatively smaller dosage compared to just B5 supplement?

    Side Effects From Oils/oil Supplements?

Thanks for a long response. I really appreciate your feedback. I work out both ways, but I tend to spend more time on aerobic exercises. I've shed about 15 pounds in the past 4 months from distance running and cardio and I feel more satisfied with how I look compared to before. Now, I am at 170 pounds and 6'1" tall. I used to consume a lot of olive oil, but I've switched to coconut oil about 2 months ago. I am on the road on the weekdays for work, so it's a lot harder to watch out what I

    Side Effects From Oils/oil Supplements?

Thanks for the response. I eat a lot of veggies and some fish, but also eat decent amount of meat, bread, and grains. I almost never eat fried food, milk, butter/margarine. I travel on weekdays for business, and it's really hard to eat healthy on the road. When I am back at home, I eat at least 2-3 meals with fish, lots of veggies, organic sauerkraut, and grass fed beef. I was eating at least one egg per day, but I've cut down on eggs. Same goes for nuts (all kinds). I would say my diet is on he
  4. Hello, I am a 26 year old male with extremely oily skin, scalp, but dry body and lips. I've tried quality fish oil (capsule) and cod liver oil (liquid form) in the past, but my body always responds negatively. Side effects include Breakouts, rashes, and more sebum production. I realize that there are many people like me on this forum and wanted to get some advice on where I should start. Recently, I read that black currant oil, evening primrose oil, and borage oil are good source of G
  5. I've seen skin like this (including my skin). Unfortunately, even dermatologists aren't sure what these are/could have caused this. To me it looks like a combination of mild/medium icepick scars and pores. If you go see a derm, I guarantee you they willl recommend you laser treatments, which I strongly advise against for a skin like this due to risk of pore enlargement. Do you sweat easily by any chance?
  6. More scars/uneven texture. Aging is not a part of equation for healing process. If you dermaroll daily or weekly, successive treatment will create more scars in DAMAGED areas.

    Question About Fraxel Repair Help!

I've done it once. Not sure what setting it was unfortunately. Repair is a double-edged sword. It can help you fix scarring/texture tremendously, but at the same time, has a lot of risk to damage your skin. My pores became larger after going through one repair treatment. If you have very oily and dark toned skin, I would be very careful about pursuing repair treatment.

Wife Thinks I'm Crazy For Scar Correction Help?

Subcision And Fraxel Repair: The Good And The Bad

That's great to see that enlarged pores can be shrunk back. One thing that concerns me the most is that damaged pores will never diminish. Even on the website you posted, although the pores shrank in size, they are still visible. I strongly believe that laser treatments cause permanent damage in pores. I have no visible pores or orange peel texture skin on the areas that never got treated with laser. I wonder how long it will take for doctors to realize this problem before stop recommending lase

Subcision And Fraxel Repair: The Good And The Bad

First of all, thanks for sharing your story. I too have oily and thick skin, but I am an Asian and have dark toned skin. I have received Fraxel:repair, subcision, TCA treatments in the past, although not at the same time. I concur that Fraxel:repair makes more enlarged pores, which I am also suffering from. TCA peels are not the way to go when it comes to reducing pores. It actually did the opposite for me, so I strongly recommend against it if you have oily skin. I am not entirely sure if enlar
  13. I was off accutane for 9 months before receiving the treatment. Recommended wait time is 6 months. Should not have affected healing process at all.
  14. hey what happened after this? does pores count as a orange texture? i think i have this too. is there any surgery that can fix this? also if i had cash, id eat better food probably, get bunch of supplemetns and do somekinda fillers or fat graft and get the best topicals availabe My skin became very bumpy and more scarring resulted from dermaroller. Boundaries between scars and healthy skin became blurry and connected with each other, resulting in uneven skin texture. Large pores are a bit di
  15. If I were to start back from scratch, I would have got a few subcisions first, then opt out for Legato or Intracel. There are three things that I should have never touched: 1. TCA 2. Dermaroller while on accutane 3. High % lactic acid (88%) I am almost certain that my orange peel texture would have never begun in the first place if I did not touch these three treatments.
