  1. Hi there. I'm currently taking 40mg of accutane everyday and have been doing so for the past 3 months (nearly 4). I have a job that requires me to travel a lot for long periods of timewhich really messes with my accutane treatment sometimes. This month I have to travel to the UK for 3 months of maybe more. My current dermatologist wasn't willing to prescribe the accutane for that long, so it looks like I'm going to have to see a doctor in the UK and continue my treatment with them while I'm th
  2. Definitely not. It happened almost the day after I started taking them and has been consistent ever since. I have done some research and it is a side effect, it's just one of the less common ones.
  3. Hi. I have a dilema and was looking for a second opinion. I am currently on the medication Celexa for anxiety, I have been on it for about 9 weeks now. I am also a sufferer of mild acne. I have noticed that since beginning to take the celexa, my acne has been much more persistent. My dilema is, is that I am going on holiday in 6 days and I really don't want to go looking the way I currently do. I usually have relatively clear skin, but this is the worst it's been in a while. I was thinking of
  4. Hi. I am an 18 year old male suffering from what I would consider mild but consistent acne. The types of pimples I get vary. (I don't know the names of them.) They can be big, small, medium, red, whiteheads, painful, not painful. I very rarely get the painful ones however I do get them on a slight occasion. My acne is always around my mouth/chin/jawline and from what I have read, that means hormonal. The rest of my skin is clear. I am currently on Epiduo and have been since August 2013 and f
  5. Are you suggesting exfoliating twice a day? That seems like a lot! Thanks for your help!
  6. Hi guys. So recently (about 3 weeks ago) I started to notice these little tiny whitehead like bumps beside both of my eyes. My first guess was that it was acne, after I realized it wasn't I then thought it could be Keratosis Pilaris as I have this on my arms too. After doing a bit more research I came to the conclusion that I'm pretty sure it's Milia. Basically, what I want to know is how to get rid of them. I've heard so many different things from different people I don't know where to begi
  7. Hi, so for as long as I remember (or at least the last 4 years) I've had this weird looking chin crease. It's always slightly red from pigmentation and I've always had these little white bumps. I eat healthy, exercise, drink plenty of water, wash, moisturize, all that. And on too of that I exfoliate every 3 days and these damn things won't seem to go! First of is - what are they? Milia? If it is then why won't they go from exfoliation? Could it be anything else? And if so, how do I I about treat
  8. Hi guys. I've been researching scars and none of them seem to sound like mine. Would anyone seem to have any further info on what type of scarring I have and a possible solution? I have attached some images. Thanks!
  9. Yes! Exactly. Mild but persistent. Very frustrating!
  10. Hello! For the past 2 or 3 years I have been getting acne around my chin/mouth/jawline area. Not too long ago I took some advice from some members on here and I have seen some improvements. These are the things I'm currently doing to prevent my acne; Using a face wash 2 times a day, moisturizing 2 times a day and using Epiduo once a day. I am also exfoliating every 3 days or so. As far as diet goes I am eating basically only fish, chicken and eggs (occasionally bacon/sausages etc
  11. Thanks for the info! What exactly is spiro? And what is salicylic acid? Is there face washes with this in or how do you go about getting it? Thanks! Actually, just yesterday I bought some all natural toothpaste. Really hoping that'll do the trick.
  12. Hi guys. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this stuff is 100% true? The whole face mapping thing. http://thebeautygypsy.com/what-is-your-acne-telling-you/ If you scroll down you'll see a picture. I'm 17 and have constant acne on the sides of my mouth and chin. So zone's 11, 12 and 13. According to this, it is hormones and stomach issues. If this is true it puts me somewhat at ease as I should imagine it has something to do with my age and hopefully won't have to live with it
  13. Hmm, interesting. So if yours isn't food related, what else have you done/are you doing to prevent your acne? Or are you just simply not doing anything. Because that's the route I feel like taking!
  14. I wouldn't say eating healthy stresses me at all. I went to San Francisco, I was outdoors quite a bit. I slept okay, some nights having great sleeps, other's I was waking the next morning feeling like crap.
