  1. I've tried the oxy and clearisil ones....I think they worked okay, but probably looked really weird in different lightings and didn't spread very nicely. be careful!
  2. I say prescriptions to spot treat, hot water, or loading up on alcohol-based bp treatments (ex panoxyl)
  3. I'm finding the price of Green Cream to be a little unbelievable - it's probably about 50 dollars Canadian or so from purchasing it online ): I'm just wondering if there are any real key differences between Green Cream and Diacneal, and if it's really worth it to go for the Green Cream instead. Thank you!
  4. Exactly that (: ! It's good for people that get really dry skin from using products (like me!) how much lotion? like just a dab? or what... thx for sharing to Not a problem for sharing! Personally I use almost equal portions....but what I do is put a blob of Everfresh on the back of my hand, then a pump of Cetaphil Moisturizer, then I start mixing a little bit of the moisturizer into the foundation blob slowly with an all over colour brush (just a regular one, no specifi
  5. Just wondering where I might be able to find this product: Alpha Hydrox In Canada... Thanks so much!
  6. So, I went to MAC over the Christmas holidays, the girl that did my face was great, really friendly and knowledgeable. I don't really have a need to wear make up much now except for the fact that I have terrible TERRIBLE red marks, but when I do, I keep it light feeling the only downside is that even though it would look good for maybe 10 minutes, it would dry up and I'd start peeling off flesh coloured flakes. So I did what the MAC girl recommended, and I started blending my foundation with a
  7. BUMP! Just wanted to say.....either this product or Vichy Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Lotion brought down my pore size like crazy - not even Tretinoin could do the same trick! I'm so excited....things that I thought were acne scars have lessened CONSIDERABLY I'm really not sure which one it was, but I used the VICHY Product for much longer so it might be... However, this cream made my skin shed (in a good way!), and it stung my acne (which I assume means it's working). The imflammation really
  8. Fruit of the Earth - ZELLERS! (about five bucks!)
  9. For some reason, I really don't doubt that it works for hunter, because the first round of acne that I got when I was 14, I overused BP and shed and shed and shed (didn't use moisturizer) and I really had no acne scars for four years... I didn't do the same this time around....and now I'm left with a ton of marks and indents...
  10. I hate it when people that seem like they've never had outbreaks in their lives, ask you questions about what you're doing with your skin. They make it seem like it's MY fault! Beliiiieve me 50-year-old-woman-with-an-accent, if I knew what made my skin that way, I would FIX IT! I just hate the fact that I have to look a certain way for interviews and what not...but I'm such a strong advocate of the no make up now, but I can't follow this policy during times that count the most. Thus, awful co

This sounds incredible! I'm so interested in buying it now... I was using Tretinoin, and wasn't sure if it was doing more harm than good because it was so strong. Have you had experience using prescription retinoids before?

  13. Ahhh, well I complained that she was using her fingers and I wanted sponges and she said that they don't use sponges or brushes because it wastes the product.. But I think I WILL be calling the store manager now! Good god I'm never letting anyone touch my face again :'( *sob sob* And you know what else......at the end of the day it didn't even look good! I just ran away because I was in a rush and I just couldn't bear to be in that seat any longer :'(
  14. So, I decided upon the advice of someone from Shoppers Drug Mart to check out Dermablend. I went to the counter at The Bay (department store) and asked someone to match my colour for me. Firstly, she USED HER FINGERS! HER FINGERS!!!! I was so uncomfortable.. Then she took about 30 minutes trying to figure out which shade it was, and never got it right! It felt cakey and thick and dirty and they started using make up removers and cleansers that just BURNED AND HURT my current outbreaks.. Neve
  15. retina (tretinion gel) is a bit differnet...i had tried it when I ran out of Tazorac. The tazorac just got the job done. (I posted the other page) like i said before...its like a super exfoliation... TEST it in a small area before you use it on your whole face, I could be a bit more thick skinned.... again, it IS not the healthiest thing... its almost like burning a layer of skin off. Its very uncomfortable, it makes your skin very tight and raw...and sensitive... and YES, it will tak
