  1. Definitely will. And no I stopped using the saltwater spray for my face. It started to irritate it. Only use it for my body works really well for body acne still. Only water for my face and sometimes I exfoliate once a week if I feel like it. I still got a long road to where I want to be with my skin but at least I've finally gotten my acne under control
  2. Thought I'd give one last update if any of you still care. Skin is looking really good. All I did was really stop caring about my skin. Sometimes I go a whole day without washing it and my skin has never looked better. I also gave up binge drinking alcohol (I'm in college) so that probably helped too. Haven't had a new zit in a month since I started and my skin is glowing. I still lift weights 4 times a week, have a protein shake after, masturbate everyday and my skin still looks great. Sometime
  3. Thanks for the input guys. My skin is now looking pretty great everything is fading nicely. What I did was throw away all my skin products and not care about my skin really. Sometimes I go a whole day without washing my face but the weird thing is my skin is almost glowing now like I never had acne. I also haven't had any alcohol in a month so it could be from that too but I haven't had a zit since I started not caring. Maybe you guys can try it? I only wash with water rn when I do. Thinking bac
  4. I'm still spraying my face with salt water at night before I go to bed. I've noticed I haven't had any inflamed zits since I started doing that. My main problem now is just blackheads and small comedones on my cheeks left over. I've started weight lifting again too and exercising. It doesn't seem to affect my acne. I honestly am just trying to forget about it. I've noticed that my skin has always looked the best when I do the least amount and let your body heal on its own. When I start using har
  5. Yeah they do. My next appt they'll probably try and give me antibiotics. If you're going for the first time they'll probably give you some sort of topical as well as oral antibiotics. They tried to put me on antibiotics in the past but I said no and just let my acne run its course for a while cause it got better but now I'm getting older and to the point where I just want it gone
  6. I'll let you know in a week. Probably won't be a cure and will stop working like everything else but it's helping calm my skin down at the moment. If this doesn't work I have a dermatologist appointment in a month and I might just say fuck it and ask for accutane. I'm too old to be dealing with this shit and at this point I'm just emotionally drained. I'll just suck it up and deal with the side effects. I bet it's not as bad as some people say
  7. Well I think I've found something that works for me. My skin hasn't been this clear in a while and I haven't changed my diet and I continue to weight lift and yes masturbate lol. I've ditched all harsh topicals and cleansers that the dermatologist prescribed me. All I do? Just wash my face with water morning and night and then spray my face with salt water. Literally dries the acne out overnight. I have oily skin and the salt water has balanced out my oil production beautifully without overdryin
  8. Yeah I've seen some of his videos. He also took accutane for almost 2 years I think which is crazy. Diet probably helped a little but it was mostly the accutane that nuked his acne for sure. I still don't think acne is caused by diet to everyone. At least for me I don't to think it is. I eat like shit and my skin doesn't break out but sometimes when I eat healthy I break out. I do know that all those prescription creams and topicals are all bullshit. I trashed all of them. I've been spraying my
  9. So I thought I'd give an update.... the no masturbating thing is a no go. Couldn't keep that up and it's stupid in the long run. One thing I have noticed is that I haven't lifted weights in 2 weeks and my oil production has decreased. Not sure if this is from eating less or the not weight lifting. My diet hasn't changed at all I just got back from spring break and ate and drank like crap. I noticed that the salt water from the ocean really did a good job at drying out and clearing up my skin so
  10. I do agree substaining from masturbating is not really a sustainable way to clear acne or a definite cure. I just want to experiment as I feel more confident when I obstain for a while too. See how long I can go. Another thing to note I have been doing landscaping outside for the past 4 summers and my acne started right around when I began doing this. Long sweaty days in the hot sun all summer probably definitely wasn't good for my skin. I would lift weights too so I would be burning tons of
  11. @shmilyM Did you notice reduced breakouts during those long streaks that you had before you caved each time? I have the same problem. I get hot flashes and feel my oil production ramp up as soon as I cave in after a short streak. Never made it past two weeks. Obviously it's hormone related for both of us I just don't know how to balance them out because there's so many things that can affect hormones. I've thought about asking my derm I put me on accutane too just to be done with this shit but
  12. Thanks for the reply AcneScience. This is all very helpful information that I'll use. I used to have whey protein after every workout but I cut that out a few weeks ago. I also have a big bowl of yogurt and granola with fruit every morning but I might cut out yogurt and try and go dairy free. Whenever I weight lift I always eat a LOT of carbs and protein also afterwards as my overall goal was to bulk and get bigger. Different factors definitely affect people's acne differently as everyone's body
  13. Hey guys, So I want to try out a theory of mine. I'm currently 21 male and have been dealing with moderate acne since I was 18. Oily skin, tons of blackheads, whiteheads large inflamed zits. I've tried countless OTC products, prescription topicals, and diet changes with no improvements. I had flawless perfect skin throughout all of high school until I got my first zit my senior year of high school. Of cource it happened during my senior prom lol. Anyways, my senior year of high school is
  14. Not the best lighting to show but those are small indentations and hyperpigmentation marks. Will these fade naturally overtime? I'm still dealing with a lot of acne I'm currently using Klaron lotion morning and night. So far I've used... OTC products Epiduo Tazorac Epiduo Forte Klaron lotion and none of these are helping that much. I have oily skin and a lot of clogged pores and now redness and sensitivity from the epiduo forte which just ripped apart my skin:( I don't know what
