    The Moisturiser

You still need to use moisturizer after BP. I love Dan's products but my skin didn't like his moisturizer. It was greasy and rich but at the same time it didn't really take care of the flakiness and dryness for me, I would also sometimes get little whiteheads from using it. I've been posting about it all night and probably sound like I am sponsored, but Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion has been a godsend for me. It is my Holy Grail moisturizer and it has allowed me to use the regimen again

    Regimen-My Skin Is Super Oily!help

I would follow Dan's instructions and wait until you've been on the regimen for at least 4 weeks before incorporating AHA into your routine. In the meantime I would try another moisturizer. Dan's products are wonderful but his moisturizer did not work for me, I felt oily and dry at the same time. I use Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion and it's amazing. It's hydrating without being greasy and it doesn't break me out.

    Oilier Skin While On Regiment?

Perhaps Dan's moisturizer is too greasy for you? I know it didn't agree with my skin, I felt oiler and drier at the same time on his moisturizer. I now use Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion and it's done wonders for me. I also use 4 drops of jojoba oil at night that I mix in with the Cerave, this may offer more hydration to your skin while also helping to control the oilies over time.

    problems with dryness or flaking?

My first time on the regimen, I experienced dryness and flaking even into my 4th month. At the time I was using jojoba oil along with Dan's moisturizer at night mixed with AHA and the Olay Complete (Sensitive Skin) with SPF 15 for daytime use and my skin didn't like either one. I quit the regimen due to the flakiness and tightness that never wanted to go away. I am on the regimen for the second time now and am using Cerave PM facial moisturizer during the day and mixed with jojoba oil and Dan

4Th Week, Not Seeing Much Improvements?

Don't quit, and don't fret over how long it seems to be taking - the time will pass anyway, and in weeks from now your skin will look so much better. Be patient. Sometimes it takes 3 to 4 months to see improvement. My first time on the regimen it took 3 and a half months before I began clearing. Make sure you are following Dan's instructions exactly and you will eventually see results. Good luck.
  6. I have been using Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle solution and Dan's jojoba oil to remove makeup. Both are very gentle and non-irritating to my skin and very effective makeup removers. The Bioderma is a French brand but can be purchased online. I get mine from Amazon in a large 500 mL bottle. It is a bit pricey at $33, but seems to be a cult favorite and is worth the money. It even removes stubborn eye makeup as well as long-wearing foundation. I always double cleanse when I wear makeup, and a

Does Oily Skin Stop With Some Birth Controls?!

I agree with everyone else here when they say to wait several months, but some birth controls definitely do help with lessening oil production. I am currently on Yasmin and it is doing wonders for my oily skin! It isn't quite "normal" yet, but I've been enjoying significant improvement. Keep at it and give it a few months to kick in, you'll get there.
  8. I have some questions regarding hormonal acne and the use of Yasmin and Spironolactone.. Hopefully this won't be too long-winded and lengthy.. Has anyone here had luck with replacing Yasmin with spironolactone to treat their (adult) hormonal acne? I don't want to be on Yasmin anymore because I believe that hormonal birth control leaves me with anxiety issues, I also experienced this on the NuvaRing as well. I am 26 and have PCOS which I believe is the root cause of my acne, so I need to be on
