  1. I apply it pretty evenly. I could try being more careful though, just to be sure! I'm hoping it's just blackheads coming to the surface.
  2. Hello! I'm getting ready to start my 3rd month on my Tretinoin cream. I had an initial breakout on my third week and it only last a couple of weeks. After that my skin stayed super clear!! Never any spots and scarring faded! A couple of weeks ago I started getting small red bumps in areas where I get black heads. (Nose, upper cheek, and above my eyebrows.) These bumps aren't really big pimples, but I would like for them to go away ): Is this normal and do you think it will stop soon?
  3. Hi! I'm currently using Tretinoin cream 0.05%, Doxycycline 100mg once daily, and washing my face with clean and clear benzoyl peroxide was 10% both morning and night... This is about my 3rd week into this regimen. I don't have dry skin, and very little flaking. This past week seemed to be an initial breakout for me (about 4 cysts on my chin, lots of small pimples on around my temples, and a few pimples on my forehead) But everything is already almost healed up and my skin is starting to look rea
  4. you wash your face twice with the cetaphil bar soap and clean and clear ? i suggest you just stick to clean and clear because washing your face with 2 things can cause clogging pores which leads to acne also you can use it in the morning and night but i only use it at night because it makes my face really dry and red even with good moisturizer so i stick to using it only at night and every other night but its up to you if you dont have these effects I had no clue I was clogging my pores o.o
  5. This is almost the end to my second week on Tretinoin cream 0.05% I do believe I'm starting to go through the initial break out.. which reallllly sucks and makes me almost want to stop using this cream :/ How long will this last??? I have pretty mild acne. Also, would it be a good idea to apply this twice a day instead of only at night? My skin reacts really well to this. No dryness or flaking what so ever. My routine: AM Cetaphil bar soap Clean and clear 10% benzoyl peroxide wash
  6. I started Tretinoin cream 0.05% a few days ago. I have been using a pea size amount all over my face. Everyone told to expect an initial breakout and really dry flaky skin, but I have not experienced either? I put aquaphor on top of the cream. Is the cream actually working on my skin?
  7. My Derm recently Prescribed me Tretinoin Cream 0.05%. She also prescribed me Doxycycline for the next 3 months. She told me to continue using my Acanya in the morning, and using my Maracuja oil. I was just wondering if anyone could me advice on how to use the tretinoin? And wouldn't mind hearing your stories with using this product (:
  8. For the past few months my skin has been breaking out horribly. I have mild to moderate acne, and I have found routine that has kept me clear for almost a month now!! Product I have been using are: Cetaphil cleansing bar St. I'ves apricot scrub Oatmeal. (I rinse my face last with oatmeal after the last two products. Helps redness!) Sea Breeze as my toner A mixture of tea tree oil and extra virgin olive oil. Acanya gel And then moisturize with Cetaphil moisturizer. I'm so happy
  9. it could be an initial breakout. Sometimes your skin has to get better before it gets worse. I would try using it for another week or two, and if your still breaking out stop. Good luck!
  10. I will look into those! Thank you so much! xxx
  11. I'm on my 3rd week of using Acanya gel. I really like it so far, but I'm still getting spots on my face. I have mild acne, and before using Acanya I would usually have 5 or 6 spots on my face at a time, but now the normal amount is 2 to 4. (Which is amazing!) I have another derm appointment in a couple of weeks and I'm thinking of asking her t put me on something along with the Acanya. Does anybody have suggestions for what would work well with the Acanya? And for those who have used Acnaya, how
  12. My derm has put me on Acnaya, and I go back to see her in a few more work to discuss my progress with it. My skin has really approved with the acanya, but I'm still getting spots ): I really don't want to stop using the Acnaya because it does help prevent new spots and it heals spots really fast! I may see even better results in the next few weeks, but I think I'm going to talk to my doctor about putting me on a 2nd medication to work with the Acanaya gel. Does anybody have any suggestions?
  13. So, my doctor perscribed me Acanya. I start it tonight. Ive done a little research on it, and it seems that most people's dermatologists perscribe something along with Acanya, but my doctor didn't. I have mild acne, but never a clear face. I always have about 4 or 5 pimples on my face, and as soon as they clear up I get more. I've tried millions ove otc products, but none help. My question is.. Will Acanya help prevent my acne even if my doctor didn't perscribe something to go with it?
  14. Awesome!! I'm happy it worked for you (: And I surely hope so lol.
