  1. I had two allergic reactions to benzoyl peroxide around a year ago (I was using 10%). My acne has been pissing me off so much lately that I decided to buy the products for the regimen. I had my first trial last night, followed instructions perfectly. Though 12 hours on and this morning my skin is itching/burning/red and just irritating like hell. Should I stop using or power on through it?
  2. http://www.clearogen.com/ Any good or just another that doesn't do anything?
  3. Just for some additional context, this is what my skin was like 11 months ago: http://oi58.tinypic.com/k1fjbm.jpg http://oi60.tinypic.com/15yjjts.jpg Seriously bad, right?! Like I said, it has improved since then but the signs are all returning to getting as worse as the above. I took this one just now, my skin is super greasy just on my inner cheek (under the eye) - http://oi59.tinypic.com/5vvpe9.jpg I envy the people who can eat pizzas, burgers etc. and not get a single spot! 4. Yeah, you're right there. Just wondering if using the gel would help reduce the problem. Body is not under any physical stress, could be argued that there's some slight psychological stress. I don't even know what's changed to be honest with you, my diet has improved, I don't really eat any fast foods apart from perhaps 1 day a week. I will try the ice solution. It's just frustrating because I've been waiting for years and years.
  5. I'm in the UK. The temperature has dropped about 6/7 degrees over the past few weeks. I'm having a terrible breakout at the moment. I took those pictures less than 24 hours ago and my acne has worsened. I hear good things about Ibuprofen gel... thoughts?
  6. Thanks for all the replies, they are very appreciated. Just to answer some queries and to clear a few more things up - I never pop my spots as it only makes things worse, so if they pop on their own I can't do anything about that. My acne has recently worsened (past 6 weeks); I never get spots on my forehead or similar, I only started getting them there when I started using some face wipes for acne. I've tried 5% and 10% benzoyl and allergic to both. The reactions were very severe.
  7. So I'm 21, I've had acne since I was 12. It has been a little worse and a lot better over the 9 years. It's getting to the point now where it's becoming embarrassing because it makes me look a lot younger. I've attached a few pictures - http://oi61.tinypic.com/3025h8k.jpg http://oi57.tinypic.com/2vvt360.jpg I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide, I have been on antibiotics (lymecycline), tried numerous washes, wipes and creams and yet no avail. Changed my diet, lifestyle and the rest of it
  8. Can anyone tell me what's good to eat? From what I've looked at, a lot of people are basically saying just about everything is bad and vegetables and fish are the only things I should eat. Is pasta okay or will this contribute to more spots? Curry's/spicy food? Breads?
  9. I've tried lots of different benzoyl peroxide treatment's and most just seem to do absolutely nothing. I haven't seen a dermatologist, no. Maybe that's something I should look into? Thanks for the welcome!
  10. Hello there, I am a 19 year old male and my acne is just getting worse and worse. I've had acne for about 7 years but this is definitely the worst I can remember it ever being and so I'd like to know what type it is and how I can stop this because it's severely killing my confidence day in, day out. Here are a couple of photos: http://postimg.org/image/vclkj2o57/ http://postimg.org/image/okwumkqo3/ Thanks.
