  1. I haven't been on this in a while - surely a good sign! It saddens me when I see the amount of people ruling out and try to debunk liver flushing on this site, it could help so many of you, some of the benefits Ive experienced so far: Better gum health (look into studies re gum disease in subjects with liver disease) Curing my chronic food intolerances - couldn't even look at milk/gluten/sugar etc before, NOW I CAN EAT ANYTHING, barely triggering my acne, only gett
  2. Hey, yeah I've tried all sorts, would drinking lemon juice day be equally as effective?
  3. Don't give in, we care about you, there's so much in the world to experience, hang in there bro!
  4. Hey, some good posts here guys, its so difficult when you see perfect skinned people everywhere. I didn't really have any scarring before college; fast forward a few years and my face is destroyed with the shit. But in a weird way, having adult acne in the working world is a bit easier, people are more mature and aware of their actions. They dont care about your skin and most people dont notice your scarring. Going to try cut out alcohol until Xmas,I remember reading somewhere that is a some
  5. Just wondering does anybody know why all vitamin c supplements break me out? Pills, powder, the lot. I wanna take them to help with collagen production with scar treatments I'm getting done aswell as gum issues I have. I'd really appreciate any pointers for this one, peace out
  6. Hey dudes Been drinking raw milk for the past couple of days, no breakouts. I also ate porridge yesterday which used to give me HUGE cysts but no breakout from that this morning! Have any of ye tried or researched liver flushes? From my years of researching acne and food intolerances I believe the 2 can either be caused by an unhealthy gut or a liver issue. Mine was a combination of both! Also if working out seems to directly affect your skin, possibly look into getting your cortisol
  7. Nice job!!! I'm gonna try drinking raw milk this weekend, Im looking to bulk up a bit for preseason so I'll let ye know how I get on with it!
  8. Hey TheBean, I used to have a really bad gut (constipation was really bad). I took lots of candida/ parasite cleansing (with cheap things like good apple cider vinegar, coconut oil), to kill gut pathogens, and also took plenty of probiotics to bring the good bacteria back into balance. The gut gets out of whack from exposure to / consumption of things that mess with your gut flora (tap water, alcohol, drugs, antibiotics, smoking, sugar, stresd and plenty of other things). Try the ACV and
  9. Btw I used to get HUGE cysts if I ate any of that stuff.
  10. Read up about liver flushing, colon cleansing and gut health. I couldn't touch dairy gluten or sugar for years, after doing the above (think I did about 6 liver flushes) i can eat pizza, chocolate, almost all foods again without any issues.
  11. Thats on Thats only for bananas though, apples caused cysts like sugar and chocolate does.
  12. If I eat a bit of fruit, anything sugary, even natural sugars, my skin begins to itch almost immediately, the amount of sugar/fruit consumed determining the severity of the breakout. For fruit like bananas its only red little dots that appear the next day and are gone the day after. Breakouts are a bit worse with apples. Can't eat these things two days in a row. Also have an issue with nuts, condiments, dairy. Vitamin c has helped my gluten sensitivity though
  13. Hey, forgot I can eat those actually, miss eating bananas and sugary shit in general though!
  14. Thanks to the reply but all fruit breaks me out, regardless of GI levels
  15. So I have plenty of foods that trigger my skin, they have improved dramatically due to high dose vitamin c and lemon juice. But sugar and fruit still breaks me out like crazy. I eat healthy, healthy fats, none glutinous grains, but can't enjoy anything sweet or I'll break out, even fruit! Anybody have this issue in the past, but they've since solved it with a certain supplement or anything?
  16. Hey I'm still here! To be honest in my case, I had so many factors contributing to my acne. High cortisol levels (stress levels, got rid of this with 3 tulsi tea and the ashwaghandha herb). Candida and parasites were a definite issue for me, whenever I did cleanses for either I'd get extremely constipated, killing off all the dead shitt! (Literally haha). I actually had to do colonics to sort this issue (had one yesterday, therapist was delighted because she said there was finally no cand
  17. Starting taking lots of vitamin c and lemon water! Its working amazingly well for me these past few weeks, I've been eating stuff I shouldn't and I haven't been breaking out!!
  18. Hey congrats with the baby! If you ever need to chat to someone about your skin and the emotions it brings, please don't hesitate to message me, I'd be glad to help! I've been dealing with it for the last 10 years now
  19. I know it sounds like such a pain, but diet really is a key way of stopping breakouts. Take easy steps first, have eggs, bits of salad for breakfast, this helps with cutting out cereal (which is poison!). Then if fruit doesn't worsen her skin she can have one or 2 bits of fruit throughout the day. This goes for nuts/seeds too. For dinner always try include highest quality meat or fish you can afford, some healthy fats, veg, and a carb like sweet potato. The key is to eat real meals
  20. Hey buddy, I'm sorry to hear your going through this, similar situation to myself. Before I say anything else, have you tried cleaning up your diet? (eating real foods rather than sugar/gluten/dairy) How's your digestion? Poor digestion can show up on your skin if its an issue. The main problem is doctors aren't trained in nutrition and how to actually look after your body, they're trained to fire pills at you rather than looking at the underlying cause. Poor gut health (have very ba
  21. I'm doing it since last night, I'll keep you posted!! does it work for red marks left over? Really dark red ones?
  22. Hey man, sorry to hear you're going through all that with your wife. In relationships in the past, I was always terrified of my skin, how it would affect my day to day living. Being honest, no woman has said anything to me about my skin, despite it being awful some days. Likewise, you still love her to bits, she needs to understand that what ye both have for each other is not determined by looks. Its not like she isn't looking after herself ,ie just eating junk, not exercising and gaining
  23. Hey! Yeah the sun usually helps! haven't tried the aspirin in a while, what's the best way to use it?? Thanks for the reply!
