  1. What does the sun do for oil production? It has help me clear up a lot of my breakouts, but I dont think it has done a damn thing about the oil. Ps im not purposely burning myself, just a little sun exposure here and there.
  2. some truth... I've been off accutane for about 3 months now and my skin is oily once again but it is not as bad as it was before.
  3. This whole diet thing is BS. I eat pretty healthy and my face is still oily as fuck.
  4. heres the deal, dont pick while ur on accutane and everything will heal and go away fine. You may get away with picking and popping while ur not on accutane, but dont do it while ur on.
  5. Thanks. Anyway, yea its been just about 3 months and I feel all hell is breaking loose, but it's really not. It's almost exactly the same as it was before I went on Accutane. I don't think you guys can picture it, my face is like extremely oily, and just my skin texture makes it worse. Even after I wash my face, my skin texture is just naturally a tad shiney (which I can handle), but after like an hour if i touch my nose there is this layer of fricken oil which is nasty and I can't deal with it.
  6. I was on accutane for 5 months and it worked great while i was on it, and now two months after i finished it all came back. My face is covered in oil and im breaking out again. The breakouts arent as bad, which is good, but I thought this was supposed to be a miracle drug. UGGGGGGGGGH. I'm almost finished school so i can get out of this hell hole and maybe my acne will go away once im older. My next derm appointment is march 14... cant wait.
  7. I stopped working out while I was on accutane. I was on accutane for 5 months and quit working out about a month in after my back started killing me but I got off of accutane about 2 months ago and im working out fully now.
  8. I was on accutane for 5 months and I did as much as i could to stay out of the sun. I got sunburnt once and it stayed red for a long time while I was on accutane so I would avoid it definately. Accutane makes your skin way too sensitive, and your eyes too. Your eyes wouldn't like the sun either.
  9. Yea what aquaman said... I would get yourself a bloodtest every month just so you know what you're doing to yourself. Buy online if you have to... screw all these flamers, but I would definately get some bloodtests done. I was on Accutane for 5 months and not a problem. You may want to rethink your dose, that is... do you even know how much your supposed to be taking?
  10. Not another Accutane flame... I was on Accutane for 5 months and I'm fine.
  11. Okay first of all, we have to get one thing straight. Stopping accutane after you hurt yourself will only hurt yourself more. Let it heal, it will, it'll just take a long time. Accutane is in your system for weeks after you stop taking it so stoping now isnt going to do anything to help it heal faster. The only thing that you might do is help ur body become more immune to accutane which isnt a good thing if u want to take it again.
  12. I've been off accutane for about a month now and ugggh the only side effects that effer occured to me were red eyes, dry nose, dry lips, and sore back. These people are just trying to scare you.
  13. Been off accutane for other a month now, and im going to cancun in about a month. My face is a bit oily from being off it for a while now but not as oily as it was, mainly around my nose but my forehead and the rest of my face are oil-free. My still have a lot of red marks and stuff like that, i'm hoping that being in the sun with sunscreen and the works should help my face blend in once again (the marks, scars, etc...). Anyone done this?
