  1. Photosensitivity is a side effect of Accutane; you should know that. It will only make things worse, if your really that concerned go see a dermatologist again because from all accounts Accutane should show results in three-four weeks. It kills the sebaceous glands see (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebaceous_gland) which produces the sebum (a lipid, or otherwise known as a fat) which causes blockages in acne. If you think the person right now is incompetent, then get a referral to another doc
  2. I've been on the Clear Skin regimen for almost 9 months now and while it has proven results periodically, the acne comes right back out again even though I do the same thing everyday. I generally break out after sport, whether that be at training, after a game or even on the relatively clean surface in indoor football. Shaving is also another cause. I break out more if I don't wash my face and go through the regimen before and after the match. This of course can mean I'm applying it and washing
  3. I stopped when I was clear because my face wash was out, now i've broken out again on the left side of my face.
  4. I've been using 5% for the last 2 days after my 2.5% ran out and my face has cleared considerably.
  5. I've recently been using an old bottle of 5% BP after my 2.5% ran out and i've been noticing I can use less BP and get even greater results than I got before. Anybody disagree with this statement ? I'm posting a poll alongside this question.

  7. DO NOT PUT BP ON SUNBURNT SKIN, I DONE SO AND ENDED UP WITH A BREAKOUT ON MY LEFT CHEEK. Bp irritates the skin more than it already has, if you have to put something on just put moisteriser on thats it. Also if you have any kind of cut on your face or accidently popped a pimple do not put BP on. As it says on the bottle do not apply to open wounds.
  8. It didn't hurt that much at all, i've been using full dosage since the start My skin is tough. But I did break out pretty bad on my left cheek.
  9. I'm a bit apprihensive about using BP after reading this. I'm also now having my doubts about Dan's Regimen. Benzac (Benzoyl Peroxide Topical) Benzac Information Benzac, with the generic name of Benzoyl Peroxide Topical, has an antibacterial and mild drying effect that wash away excess oils and dirt. Benzac Indications Benzac is used to treat acne cases. Benzac Warnings/Precautions Benzac should not be used on sunburned, wind burned, dry, chapped, or irritated skin. It should not be
  10. I'm using Benzac AC the only pharamacy wide BP gel available in Australia. This is the same as all other BP so for you people thinking about going on the regimen, do not take it lightly. 11. I'm using a ton of 2.5% after recently spending the majority of the day in heavy sun with no protection (UV rating 13 which is extreme). Now I want to know if it's safe to put BP and if so, is it safe to put on my moisteriser which has Sailtic Acid and Gluocosic acid, or whatever they are. It's got a really mild sting going on, ( there usually is a sting from the Salitic acid ) and i'm not sure if it's the medicated creams or the fact that I was rubbing on my sunburn ?? I was practicing Footba
  12. I would think any vegetables would make acne better. Depends how you cook them. Steaming or boiling would be preferred.
  13. But how much water did you drink afterwards ?? If you sweated that much 3lt's would be a bare minimum.
  14. This was more of the way I was thinking. I broke out as soon as I stopped exercising for 3 months ( I had a hip injury so it wasn't a choice ). More importantly is your diet as I said before, 2 litres of water a day is a must (you should drink even more 3-4lts in a day after exercising and sweating excessively). When you excerise the body needs a place to store all the bad chemicals which are brought out by exercise ( the body naturally dumps the gylocose and the stored energy from the mus
