  1. I know exactly how you feel, scars are the absolute worst. The feeling that things are going great with someone new, and that you might finally get what you want, but your face makes you feel like ultimately it's still just out of reach. I'm sorry I don't have anything insightful or positive to add. This is something I've dealt with for years and I really feel like with almost anyone attraction is about the physical aspect. You can make friends if you're smart and funny, but only friends.
  2. I have some that are a lot like the ones in that picture, and it's insane how much a tiny change in angle can do. I'm not saying the before and after pics aren't real, but I'm hesitant to believe it. I'd have to see it for myself. It's got nothing to do with subcision, but scarcrash, I couldn't agree more. If anyone is reading this and you have no scars, or even just a couple of light ones, that's something you should always feel really great about. I don't care who you are, what your positio
  3. Thanks for posting this. I found an old thread on it the other day and pretty much everyone had very positive things to say about it. I'm considering self injecting, but I need to do a lot more research first.
  4. It's screwed up everything for me. I thought about it the other day and realized almost every single aspect of my life would be different if I hadn't had acne or scars. I'm getting ready to finish college and apply to professional school, and everyday I find myself dragging my feet or doing other things to screw up my chances at getting in. I've tried for years to be more confident, don't worry about it, etc., but it just doesn't work. Hopefully I'll be able to get it fixed at some point but I r
  5. I did it at home and 3 crosses later I'm glad I did. It was a risk I was willing to take, but I did an unhealthy amount of research going in so I wasn't worried. I also did a test spot before the real thing.
  6. Your head is kinda swelled up when you wake up. Blood and fluid isn't able to drain from your head as much laying down as it does when you're standing up.
  7. I've done 3 crosses this year, early May, late June, and the last one 2 weeks ago. I've noticed some improvement, but it's really hard to quantify. Possibly 20-30%. The main difference is in the overall "look" of the scar, TCA kind of smooths the edges which is nice. But as far as depth I haven't seen a drastic improvement. I'm thinking now of trying some peels. I have pics but they aren't very good, I may start my own thread.
  8. I've been using the regular CP Serum from Skinbio for about 3 months, and I'm just now noticing a definite softening in my scars. Nothing dramatic, but they're all a little less deep and less defined. I guess ~15% improved but it's hard to say.
  9. An update: Looks like my CROSS was successful, atleast in short term. It's day 10 since I did it and there are still pieces of scab on both scars I focused on. From what I can tell of the areas where the scab has peeled away, the scars seem to be a little shallower and less defined. Very little to no discoloration.
  10. so did your scabs appear today? i have no scabs, redness whatso ever but i dont think i did it properly. yesterday I did a cross on one of my wrinkle type scars which definatley stung and turned white, today its red and im waiting for a scab. it will be interesting to see how this one turns out because this is a strange scar. Alot of people have these liner type scars so if it works on this scar i will do all the other ones and i will ofcourse let you all know! im praying for a mirical!!
  11. Today I have some very light scabs. I can't even tell it's a scab looking at it but it feels different to the touch and moves differently than the surrounding skin.
  12. Mine did swell up level to the skin right after the TCA for the rest of that night, but went back down the next day. I don't think they are actually any deeper, the redness just makes it look that way. 4 days almost and no scabs, just brownish/red still.
  13. Thought I would add that when I applied the TCA, I held it in for 10 or more seconds until I felt all of it could be absorbed off of the toothpick, THEN several minutes later the frost had formed. I noticed yesterday that the two scars I was most aggressive with have turned a reddish/brown and look a little deeper, but no pain or scabbing. I'm keeping neosporin on them until they scab.
  14. I've had nothing else happen either. I don't know what's going on. I got 100% TCA from mytcapeels, soaked a toothpick in it for 15-20 seconds, firmly pressed the toothpick into each scar for like 15 seconds, and pulled out. I did around 8-9 scars, only about 4 of them stung after putting the acid on but all of them frosted. No redness now or anything. I don't know what I could be doing any different to get a better result, but maybe I'm still rushing it.
  15. Yeah I did the same thing last night actually. I put the TCA on (100%), and it stung and frosted a light white, but the frosting went away after about an hour and now there is no visible trace of me doing anything whatsoever. Kinda hard to think a scab is just going to come out of nowhere in a few days but I'm going to give it time.
