  1. I'm hoping that someone will tell me WHAT is going on! I'm a 17 year old female and have had moderate acne for the past 8 or so years, and I get it on my face, chest, back, neck, and shoulders. I've tried a lot of medication to help, and most have done nothing. In the beginning of June, I got on a topical medicine called Clindamycin, and it was like an answer to my prayers! Although it really only helped my face acne, my skin was at least 95% better and I loved it! At the same derm. appointmen
  2. Doxycycline gave me stomach aches too. That's because it releases in your stomach. Go back to your doctor and get perscribed Doryx, which is a another form of Doxycycline. It will open up in your intestines instead, and thus get rid of the stomach aches. Tried it, it worked.
  3. OMG I don't know.....what I hate the most is when I was in 5th grade, we had to watch this movie on good hygene, (sorry if I spelled that wrong), and they show this video of a girl washing her face and the guy on the movie says, 'You get acne from not washing your face enough." And then EVERYONE in the entire class turns to look at me. I washed my face 3 times a day back then! GAH!
  5. I've had acne for the past 8 years. When I was younger, it didn't bother me much. But once I got a little older, I developed acne not only on my face, but on my neck, chest, back, shoulers, bee-hiney, and occasionally on my lower arms. I have lots of scarring on my back, and I can never bring myself to wear a bathing suit, or go anywhere in a low cut shirt or basically show skin in public. My face acne for the past month hasn't been too terrible, but within the past two days I have broken out li
  6. Although I'm not totally sure if allergies help create acne, I know that allergies can stop you from getting rid of it. I'm allergic to BP and Sulfur drugs, and those are used in acne medications (and in the Regimen) so I can't use them to get rid of acne.
  7. 8 years, age 9 until now... And everyone keeps saying, 'you'll out grow it you'll out grow it!' And you know what? I DON'T WANT TO OUT GROW IT! I WANT IT GONE NOW!

  9. i've read everywhere thats its good for you, and people say it worked for them,so i wanna see if it will work. hopefully it will. the spot got a bit red, does anyone know if the redness will go away? Maybe I'll try it later if it works for you. If you keep it up and it works well, post your results. The redness will probably go away...Sorry I can't be more helpful with that!
  10. 1) A good reason to stay inside and 'pamper' yourself with a bubble bath 2) A wonderful excuse to buy loads of 'bath&body products' 3) So you don't have to wear that awful looking dress that your aunt sent you that just happens to dip low in the front and show the back... 4) So you are more acceptable of other people with acne 5) To skip school by claiming you have the 'chicken pox'
  11. Wow...I've never heard of that before. All I can say is don't rub it in, because the salt will scratch your skin. But why did you do this anyway? Just a thought? Very creative!
