  1. I personally would go back to your dermatologist and ask for 80mg regimen instead. Thats what my derm has done, and I've been through 3 courses of accutane since I was your age. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES start the regimen right after you've finished accutane unless you want your flare up to go so bad you wish you'd never of done it in the first place. I've been there... just spot treat and gently use 2.5 BP. Remember, for about 4-5 months after your accutane course your healing
  2. I am 6'2 290 lbs white male, basically had tried to stop my problems with desonide on my face, and then used cetaphil wash (bad idea, has parfum in it) and was wondering if it's just an allergic reaction or possibly an infection now. I'm not quite sure what this is... What do you guys think? Thanks! It's been a really long time since I've been here, this really sucks I hope you guys had a great christmas... Cause I sure didn't.... UGH WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO BE A LIFELONG PROBLEM!!!!!
  3. Where to start? I haven't been here since wow... forever honestly. Jeez it's so frigging crazy how time flies. Since then I've only been working on my skin getting better and better throughout the days and life has passed me by I forgot how to enjoy myself because of it. Masking my mental state of mind with prescription drugs, alcohol, drugs, whatever else I could get my hands on in my earlier years . It's been a really rough time. I've gotten through my mental perception of myself and it's

  5. What's the best way to disinfect the derma roller after it's use?
  6. Welcome to my post. The information provided here I hope will make your life somewhat better after hearing my story, and I hope you will take from this hope, compassion, understanding, and realize what little things you have in life will overcome the focused thoughts of your appearance. I've been a member here since 03', but oh have I had acne since ol' time ago. As you can see, I haven't visited this website in a year due to my last resort experience with Accutane. I'll get to that later, be
  7. I've got some pretty crazy eczema/sebderm/something dry skin on my face, and im currently taking accutane. would this help it or excrebate it?
  8. Only time will heal them. Just remember red marks arent permanent. Fraxel can help with scars as well. Nothing is permanent.
  9. is it this bad to have such bad erythmia all over your face only on the 7th day? My face is incredibly red and even if i slightly touch my skin it stings (even with tons of moisturizer on it)
  10. I had a very bad chemical burn on the sides of both of my eyes about 6 months ago and my vision has suffered from it. I personally use both Systane eyedrops and Thera-Tears liquid gels.
  11. I appreciate the response. I personally, told my dermatologist (who is an amazing one) that I wanted to go on accutane due to continuous acne and oil production. She didn't say anything about me having seb derm, I just THINK I have it since ive had the symptoms mildly on my face but pretty bad on my scalp. I don't believe it's rosacea because it's not continually red, my face just flakes really bad and itches when i blush or shower. I have had continuous acne for 5 years now, gradually slowing
  12. I guess it's always my posts no one can answer :(
  13. I'm quite positive vaseline is non-comedogenic as long as you don't rub it in. I've never seen someone breakout from using it, but id prefer not to just to be on the safe side. Oh, and by the way bushie, you don't have acne. Get off of accutane.
  14. Hey guys, I havent been to these forums in a long time since they usually depress me. I decided to go on a course of Accutane (Amnesteem) 40 MG Daily, and I was wondering if it will permanently cure my Seb derm. I have it really really bad all over my face, and im already on day 7 of my Accutane and my face is incredibly red and my skin has peeled so badly that it's raw to the extreme (it's getting better with constant moisturizing, though) and I noticed that my face is healing normally instead
