  1. Is there any history of the Acne.org benzoyl peroxide causing dark spots? I ask because recently I have seen a dark spot appear on my cheek and it was never a zit, was never raised or inflamed. I have not heard of this happening before but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced it.
  2. That's exactly what I'm going to do this time. Last time, when I tried to quite cold turkey, my acne came back and I was back on the Regimen within 3 months. I have reduced the amount of benzoyl peroxide that I use to 1 pump twice per day morning and evening. Not only is my face less dry and red, but my complexion looks healthier and I am still completely acne free. I will continue with 1 pump twice per day for the next 1 month and hopefully will remain clear. If I remain completely clea
  3. It's tiring doing the Regimen every day, twice per day for 7 YEARS. I want to see if I have finally outgrown acne. Most people outgrow acne after adolescence and I'm 27 years old so perhaps I too have outgrown acne.
  4. I'm a 27 year-old male and have battled acne for 13 years. I have been on the Regimen for the last 7 years and have remained almost completely clear except for a brief 2 month period from mid-November 2013 to mid-January 2014 when I tried to stop the Regimen cold turkey and my acne came back. I used Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Cream Cleanser for one month but it didn't help and then Proactiv Plus for the second month, but my acne became more frequent and severe so back to the
  5. I've decided I'm just going to apply BP on my left and right temples, my forehead and my nose during the day and do the full regimen at night. That way it becomes virtually impossible for any part of my face which has BP on it to rub against my shirt collars. I am EXTREMELY careful to not wipe my face with my shirts. I am definitely concerned about keeping my cheeks clear because I used to have breakouts there, but fortunately I haven't had a breakout on my cheek for a very long time and hop
  6. No, why would I wipe my face with my shirt? That would just get the BP on my shirt and ruin it. For some reason, only the area inside my collar and around the top button gets bleached. It's the same spot every single time.
  7. I'm not the only one with the bleaching problem. If you search 'bleach' in the search area you will see hundreds of posts dealing with this very issue. I want to maintain clear skin but can't ruin $600+ worth of shirts. There has to be a substitute that won't bleach and I'm going to give AHA a shot.
  8. Has anyone remained clear by only doing the Regimen once per day at night and substituting AHA for BP in the morning? I'm 100% clear with the Regimen twice per day, but refuse to ruin more shirts with BP. I'm ready to only use BP at night, but wanted to see if anyone else has remained 100% clear.
  9. The bleaching on my shirts is on the inside of the collars and around the first button (not an area where I would touch with my hands). I don't apply BP on my chin area because I don't get acne there, but somehow the BP is getting from my cheeks/nose/forehead area to the same exact spot on my collars and bleaching the same area. I know other users have had problems with bleaching in this area as well, but none of us have figured out what it could be.
  10. 1. The tips of my hair are bleached! I'm a guy with dark hair and am careful to avoid my hair coming in contact with BP but the tips of my hair are orange and light. I look like a member of a '90s boy band. It's so embarrassing, especially at 26 years old! 2. My shirts randomly get bleached around the collars! I find green, blue and pink colored shirts are the most prone to bleaching, but my grey shirts have also been bleached. I would estimate I've thrown away at least $700 worth of shirts
  11. Mix jojoba oil in with your moisturizer. Only use 5-6 drops because more than that can leave a shine. It works wonders and you can use it right away instead of waiting a month like with AHA.
  12. I'm happy to report that my recently ordered Acne.org jojoba oil has arrived and I used it today for the first time. WOW! What a difference just 5 drops makes! My skin feels softer, hydrated and is not flaky at all. When I used to moisturize strictly with the Acne.org moisturizer and Neutrogena Clear Face with SPF30 my skin would be dry and literally flaking. It was definitely embarrassing. Tonight I'm going to use 10 drops of jojoba oil with my Acne.org moisturizer to ensure my skin st
  13. So, I recently re-started the Regimen after stopping it cold turkey in October of last year (was on it for 5 years) to see if I had outgrown acne (26 yr. old male with no family history). Turns out I haven't outgrown acne and started breaking out in November of last year until January of this year. I went back on the Regimen using the Acne.org products. Problem is I'm clear again BUT SUPER DRY. Even with using AHA at night a few days per week, my skin is still FLAKY and TIGHT FEELING. I
  14. Dan recommends 2 full pumps of Acne.org moisturizer which is a good call for people on The Regimen because it helps keep the skin moisturized after benzoyl peroxide. How have people gotten the 2 full pumps to absorb fully? I can never get the 2 full pumps to absorb even when I apply one pump and wait for it to absorb and then apply a second pump. The extra moisturizer just sits on top of my skin. Also, even 2 full pumps leaves my skin feeling tight after a while. I either apply t
  15. Long-story short. I achieved 100% clearing on The Regimen using store-bought products and was on it for 5 years. I stopped in October of last year thinking that I might have naturally grown out of acne (I'm a 26 year-old male with no prior family history of acne). Unfortunately it turns out I didn't outgrow acne. I started breaking out again and my acne has gotten worse. I used Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Cream Cleanser for three weeks with no success and then Proactiv
