  1. Day..... 5 Days until complete with Iso! Ok, now I know I haven't been that diligent about updating this thing. Actually, I barely wrote in here. But whatever. Here's the info about what has been happening during the past few months... I would have to say that after the 2nd month, probably closer to 2 and 1/2 months, my skin stopped breaking out. For the rest of my course, I got the random small pimple here and there, but nothing too big. My redmarks are finally going away. I only use just a
  2. Last October I stopped taking BCP, and everything was fine until about 3-4 months later when my skin started flaring up real bad. I went to a derm and got on accutane. I'm almost done with the course now. I was on the pill for 7 yrs (I'm 24 now) and was just tired of taking them so I stopped. They did help with my mild/moderate acne a bit, but I'm sure I didn't just have hormonal acne. I'm Italian and am just prone to oily skin. Sorry that you have to experience this. It seems like a lot of wo
  3. Drinking lots of water has helped me. I actually don't have much of a problem with my lips getting dry because of that, I think. I use Aquaphor during the day, but at night I slather on Neutrogena's Honey Rescue Balm which I really love. It's thick and the color of honey, and you can really pile it on. It's helped me as well.
  4. Well, I've been on tane for almost 2 months now. My skin isn't super dry at the moment so I don't know if I'll be of much help, but this is what I've been doing when I wear makeup... I moisturize my face really well all over, then I moisturize sections, like if I start putting on my makeup on the right side of my face, I'll moisturizer that area again. While it hasn't sunk into my skin yet, I'm able to use my cream concealer fairly well in that area. And then I continue moisturizing sections of
  5. I wear concealer when I leave the house. Otherwise, I don't wear anything.
  6. Actually, you're the worstest when it comes to grammar.
  7. Ok, yeah, all Proactiv commercials kind of suck, and this new one seems to come on ALL the time whenever I'm watching tv. A girl is talking about how great Proactiv is, and she makes the statement that Proactiv is the "bestest." Ummmm, bestest isn't a word. Isn't is good, better, best?? Where did she get bestest from?? Maybe I'm wrong or something. I don't have the bestest grammar skills...lol.
  8. Oh yeah.... some people do take b vitamins to help clear them, huh? I was just taking it because I'm not taking a multivitamin anymore and a lot of the vitamins in one are b vitamins. Haven't been feeling any different, but I think I'll cut back on the b vitamins just to be safe.
  9. I use the moisturizing lotion daily. It's fantastic. Much lighter than Cetaphil but still as effective. My derm gave me a sample of the CeraVe cream but it's too thick. I think a lot of people on here use and recommend the lotion. Do you use the lotion on your face?

  11. So my derm gave me some samples of this CeraVe cleanser and moisturizer. I've never heard of it before. Anyone else use this stuff while on tane? Work well? I might try the stuff. Anyway, they were free samples, and my purpose cleanser is almost gone.
