  1. If you look at my picture gallery you will see that I only got worse while being on the regimen. It takes time to find what works, but I finally found what works for me. Each person's skin is different so each person will react differently to different products. All I know is that exfoliating and moisturizing every day has worked wonders for me.

This is a picture of me that I took today. All I do is exfoliate with cetaphil and use facial mousturizer. I am also on birth control which I think has helped a little bit, but I honestly swear by exfoliating. It is a miracle. I am wearing mineral makeup in this picture, but it's just to cover up some scarring I still have.
  3. I did the regimen for 3 months...my acne only got worse and worse so I quit it after a lot of tears and frustration. Now I'm exfoliating with cetaphil, using the BP gel only at night, and using neosporin. I've only been getting one or two zits a week! Go to the picture gallery to check out my progress.
  4. I also forgot to mention that I'm now using mineral makeup which is absolutely amazing. My skin doesn't feel so bogged down and I don't feel like I'm undoing all the cleaning I do to it. I love it!

    Just two zits...not too bad
  6. From the album: Susanna's Yucky Acne

Well..I stopped Dan's regimen and my skin has improved. I've learned that the regimen just isn't meant for everyone's skin. I've been exfoliating with cetaphil cleanser, using bp gel at night, and using neosporin (which also acts as an amazing moisturizer). My left side, as you see looks so much better. All that I have right now are two zits on my right cheek and the rest is red marks.
  7. Thanks for all the help guys. I'll stick with it for a little longer, work at picking at my skin less, and maybe even consider getting on the pill. I do believe it's largely hormonal and maybe something like birth control would help.
  8. I've had very high hopes for the regimen and followed it EXACTLY as dan tells you using the exact products: cetaphil, bp gel, and eucerin. Every once in awhile for maybe a couple of days my skin will look good, but then I always end up breaking out in the end. My skin looks worse now then from when I started. If you'd like to see this "progress" I have pictures posted in the gallery. Anyway, I was just wondering if it's normal to still not be cleared up by two and a half months and if any of

I look decent with makeup on, but it's still not perfect.
  10. From the album: Susanna's Yucky Acne

This side isn't too bad...just a lot of nasty red marks.
  11. From the album: Susanna's Yucky Acne

I think that I've gotten worse through the regimen. If you look at my pictures from day one I didn't have near as many red marks. I guess I'm not really sure what to think.
  12. From the album: Susanna's Yucky Acne

Althought this may not look too great, it is an overall improvement. Most of the redness around my face is just scarring.

And then the Acne Gods decided that my skin was much too clear and they cursed me with about 10 new zits. This is the worst I have ever been. I'm getting worse on the regimen and I just can't understand why.

Here I am, looking the best I have in so long. Basically I'm only scars in this picture and very very little acne. I was so happy and things were just awesome....
  15. I don't see any problem with it myself. And I actually use two different ones and haven't seen a difference. The one I use in the morning is neutrogena because it doesn't clump up with my makeup. I use the cetaphil in the evening because it helps with the dryness and flaking more, but it does tend to clump a lot. You're probably ok with using two kinds.
  16. I would show it off. All of my life I've played it low, so why would I, with perfect skin, want to do that anymore?
  17. I use cetaphil gentle cleanser. Wait 15 minutes. Add a generous amount of Dan's bp gel. Wait about 5 minutes. Apply neutrogena oil free moisturizer. Sometimes in the morning I skip the bp gel because my skin was getting too red and too dry. As for makeup I've been using either almay or covergirl for foundation (both oil free) and some cover girl powder.
  18. Playing the piano does it for me. Once I sit down and put my fingers to the keys, I forget about everything else. I could spend hours playing if my back didn't start to hurt.
  19. From the album: Susanna's Yucky Acne

This is looking worse than from when I started. Keep in mind that this is right after washing so it might be more irritated...I don't really know.
  20. This picture is also with make up on. I do like the regimen because it seems to be preventing me from breaking out as much, but I'm having a hard time getting this old ones to go away. I was using the full dose of the bp but then my face turned red and dried out way too much so now I'm using about half of it.
