  1. It's a little pricey but if it'll keep my skin from breaking out I'll pay a little extra! Thanks
  2. Hey guys, I'm going away to Mexico next week and will need a serious sunscreen but I find that sunscreens with a heavier spf feel greasy and tend to make me break out. Can anyone recommend me a sunscreen with at least an spf of 30?

    Redmark help. Answer poll please

Aloe vera seems to help... but its definitely not a quick fix
  5. I don't ever get the amount of sleep I should. The problem is not that I don't have the opportunity... I simply can't. I average about 4 maybe 5 hrs a night lately (i think; it's hard to say for sure because I wake up so often). Anyways, one of my friends recommended melatonin, which is a hormone that is already produced by the body, and I was just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with it (or knows someone who is taking it). Does it seem to effect acne at all? Thanks
  6. Last night I used benzoyl peroxide (prob a bit more than i should have as it turns out) as a spot treatment (for a whitehead that was hardly noticeable). It was left on for about 14-15 hrs. This morning I woke up with a circular welt/burn(?) in the area i applied the dollop. It is red, raised, and inflammed and about 1 cm or so in diameter. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any suggestions for how it should be dealt with?

    Marijuana helped my red marks

I don't know about red marks but I would think people would be ill advised to rush out and try to clear their skin troubles with Mary Jane's assistance. Here's the experience others have had with with marijuana in relation to their complexion http://www.steadyhealth.com/marijuana_and_acne_t56010.html Doesn't seem too promising a treatment to me. But I suppose everyone reacts differently. Perhaps you're a fortunate freak who responds favourably to marijuana lucky you
  12. Has anybody had any experiences to share regarding this? Can exercising maybe speed up the healing of these damn red marks? http://www.prevention.com/article/1,5778,s...-6801-1,00.html
  13. Although i do not have roscea i still may get this done as it targets several other problems and do have some mild facial redness. Anyone have experience with this?
  14. I really want a tan but the medication that I use for my acne won't allow it so thought that 'd try a sunless tanner. I tried a particular one yesterday and ended up with a lovely skin rash. Although it was non comedogenic it was still irritating as you can tell by lokking at my red splotchiness. Hooray. Anyways any help on finding a sunlerss tanner that will not irritate my skin and above all will not give me acne would be much appreciated. Thanx
