  1. Yes, I have the Pfizer brand Neosporin ointment. I didn't see the cream version. Is this it? http://www.pfizerch.com/product.aspx?id=361 Can I purchase this at Wal-Mart? Finally, can anyone else attest to the acne-fighting ability of the cream version? Thanks!
  2. Hi all, Well I've went through a bunch of acne regimen changes lately. I was on the regimen for months, which did clear up my acne pretty well (except it left red marks), but I stopped recently because it was ruining my overall complexion...I'm not sure why (I was using Purpose for cleanser, bp gel, and eucerin, and continued on but switched up to Cetaphil bar for cleanser). I also ended up doing a jessfolation patch test on my chin to remove red marks - it didn't cause any more acne, but didn'
  3. Thanks for the replies. Anyways, I'm guessing it's only dangerous for application if you're allergic to the hair dye, and since I'm not allergic to it... Also thanks for the advice over the dye made for brows.
  4. Jess: Thank you for the quick reply. Here is the warning: http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/ANSWERS/ANS00408.html I've got very dark brown (the closest shade to black) eyebrows, and I was thinking of dyeing them one shade lighter... Did you do it yourself or have it done at a salon?
  5. I just had my hair dyed all over to get out highlights I had put in a year ago (they don't go away easy...), but the dye was slightly lighter than my normal hair color. As a result, my eyebrows look a little weird, since they're a bit darker than my hair is. Now the FDA has a strong warning against using dye on your eyebrows (supposed to cause an allergic reaction leading to severe eye damage/blindness), but many other sites and my mom's friend assure me that there's nothing wrong with even usin
  6. Man, I love college *so* much more than high school. And I love the dorms. I wouldn't worry about the food; at least where I go to, I pick what I eat. Of course, there are the "unhealthy" lines, like the pizza line, burger line, etc., but I avoid those. I eat a banana and an orange with every meal, a luxury I didn't have at home! (imagine a household of 5 kids with each eating 3 bananas and oranges a day...) My roommate is pretty cool too. Oh, and if you're worried about taking a million product
  7. My acne isn't severe enough to go through 4 years of it without any cure. Screw that. I just got through my first semester of college, so the next 4 years would be spent in misery. I'm sure in 4 years' time I'll find something that works perfect anyways.
  8. I can't wear color contacts . I'm just stuck with my eyes as they are. Why not? I wear contacts because I have bad vision, but even if you have 20/20 vision you can still wear contacts for "cosmetic" purposes (I believe so, at least). After all, a lot of emo dudes wear those silly Harry Potter glasses when they have perfect vision.
  9. My eyes are a very dark brown, but they go pretty well on me, so I like them. I have been thinking about trying on different-colored contacts, though, just to see what they look like (I was thinking either of a light green, a hazel, or a dark blue).
  10. Argh...I've fallen very ill. I just got done washing my face (purpose gentle cleanser; doing a patch test with jessfoliation on my chin as well - no neosporin, however. I'll switch to Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser ASAP, Jess ). Next I'll apply bp gel and eucerin skin renewal. The process sucks enough, since my muscles are *extremely* weak; I played a few hours of a soccer kickaround last night for the first time in months, and that's enough to make me sore. Having the flu, however, only compounds my
  11. Personally, I don't believe that masturbation has any correlation with acne - at least, based off of my own experiences. However, I have been wondering if it worsens your complexion overall, since you do lose a significant amount of zinc if you masturbate frequently (assuming you orgasm). And I'm not particularly religious, so I don't have my own hidden agenda behind posting this. I'm just wondering if anyone agrees or disagrees that it can kind of "drain" the complexion of your face a bit - it
  12. Hi, I'll start by posting my regimen: -Purpose Gentle Cleanser Bar -Dan's bp gel -eucerin skin renewal I've been on the regimen for a while now (I think close to 3 months). While it did clear my face *relatively* well, I still have some problems. First and foremost, I have little reddish spots on my cheeks and on my forehead, mostly in the middle of my forehead above my eyebrow area. They're rather difficult to see, but they do seem to screw up my complexion pretty bad. They're very flat (in
  13. I started Dan's regimen the Saturday before last (so 9 days ago). I'm pretty confident that my skin will become completely clear in the next 6 weeks, given my results so far. When I came to college I had bad outbreaks for whatever reason, and my acne, which had always been mild to moderate, was now getting a good bit worse. So I finally gave Dan's regimen a shot, and I can't say I'm disappointed. For the first time (in years) I noticed today that the acne around my mouth and on my chin is starti
  14. Thank you for the suggestions. I suppose I'll just have to go with warm water, seeing as that's all I have till I receive my new cleasner bar.
  15. Title says it all. I was visiting relatives and left my Purpose Gentle Cleanser Bar there (I still have my bp gel and Eucerin Skin Renewal). I just purchased a new one over drugstore.com and had it shipped but what can I do in the meantime? Please help. Thanks!
  16. Thanks for the advice regarding my forehead. However, is anyone able to give me advice regarding the "hardening" or "tightening" of my skin? My face feels like its encased in chemicals sometimes and it kind of shows - as I said, it looks like the lines around my mouth are tighter and more visible. While my skin is clearer, it just looks worse somehow. That's the best I can explain it. If any can give me advice that'd be great. Thanks!
  17. Hi, Products used: bp gel, Eucerin Skin Renewal, and Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar I just started the regimen two days ago, and I'm surprised to see some of my acne subsiding quickly (I'm in my freshman year of college and my acne started getting worse when I got here - I have no clue why). However, I have a few problems resulting from it. First, someone else mentioned a 'tightness' of their face, something I'm experiencing (note that I have been using bp in some form or another for the past few
