  1. White_Hype, I lift weights too and what I do is take a shower after the gym and wash with Cetaphil and then just apply a light moisturizer. That works well for me. Then I use the two C&C products again before bed.
  2. I've been on this regimen for 2 weeks and so far so good. I have still been getting a small pimple here and there but that could still be some things coming to the surface. Overall though I am very pleased and will continue to do this regimen. I also love the fact that it's so simple. Would I even need to use Glycolic Acid every once in a while to exfoliate or do I get that with the 2 products I'm using already?
  3. Danielle, I noticed that when I initially started using it I had the same problem you did where I thought I was breaking out more. But what it was was everything coming to the surface. Now those that came to the surface are drying up and healing and I since have not had any new breakouts. So I would say stick with it for at least a couple of weeks and see what happens. If you feel like it's drying you out too much and your skin is gettin flaky, then just make sure you use a good moisturizer.
  4. Well, it's been a week for me since trying the C&C regimen and so far have found improvement. ALl of the existing acne I had started to come to the surface and then dry up. Now my face needs to start healing. I haven't seen any new ones pop up either so I am very pleased with the results thus far. I'm going to stick with it and see if my face starts to dry out though, if so then I will need to incorporate a mositurizer into the regimen or use the BP only once a day rather than twice.
  5. Well, I just started this regimen 2 days ago and I did breakout initially but I know it's because everything is coming to the surface. Like any treatment, you need to give it some time. I'm going to see how it goes week to week. Hasn't dried me out... yet. I'm sure when the cold NY weather gets here it will. But that's because I use both products in the morning and at night. I also use a light moisturizer to combat the dryness. If my face starts to get too dry, then I will use the BP on
  6. Yeah, I'm sure anything that sheds layers of skin from your face will make you more susceptible to sun damage. Just make sure you wear sunblock. Nothing less than SPF-15.
  7. I'm going to give this regimen a shot after trying every product under the sun... even Accutane. I'll let you know how it goes. I am on Differin right now, I wonder if I can still put that on at night after washing. Here goes nothing! [-o<
  8. Does anyone know a good dermatologist in the New York area (New York city or Long Island)?? Just curious because I'm looking for a dermatologist that is really looking to help me rather than just make money off of me. Thanks!
  9. I know I could do a search for these answers but I don't have time to read through 600 posts for an answer. I have just three quick questions... 1. Where can I buy peels that I can use at home that are similar to those I get at the dermatologist (strength-wise)? 2. Has anyone used Gly Derm Glycolic Acid or Alpha Hydrox Glycolic Acid and if so, which did they find worked best? 3. What's the difference between Glycolic Acid and Salycylic Acid? If you're able to help me, thank you... i
  10. I kept the vinegar on overnight. I would apply Differin over it as well. The Differin has always helped and I used to use a Glycolic Acid that helped but thought the vinegar would be better because there is a thread on this site that made it sound like it was the best thing ever. I'm looking for something I can pick up at CVS (Walgreens, Eckerd...) so I don't have to wait for it to come in the mail. But nobody ever answered my thread completely. Please help. Thanks.
  11. I tried doing the vinegar method for the last month and it actually made my acne worse. Does anyone know a good exfolient and toner and I can get over-the-counter? Something with glycolic acid in it? Thanks. P.S. What's the difference between toner and an exfolient? Do they both do the same thing? Lift away dead skin? I was using glycolic acid beforehand and it was working but I thought the vinegar would help the scarring. I was wrong. Now I wash with Cetaphil and use th
  12. I want to find whoever has the highest amount of mg per pill so I'm not poppin' 100 pills a day. I tried the Acne Miracle website but they said they're not taking any new customers!
  13. Where did you buy the B5 and how much are you taking?? Any side effects thus far?
  14. Thanks for the reply. Have you tried the Vitamin B? Would you recommend one over the other? I like the idea of taking pills because I'm so sick of putting so much crap on my face! What have you heard about the Ketsugo? Any good results? Thanks for the help!
  15. I'm sorry, one last question... they keep popping up in my head as I read through the board. Would we still need to use an exfolient (i.e. Alpha Hydroxy or Glycolic Acid) while using the vinegar or does the vinegar act as an exfolient? Thanks!
