  1. Hey robinne, I just wanted to write you a letter of support because I feel for your situation. I struggled with acne from ages 15 up to today - there were years where it was basically gone and years where it's been terrible. You can't let it ruin your life. You're still a human being who can do all the things an acne-free human being can do - but yeah it's true some harsh people will judge you sometimes. It's really hard to do (for me too) but you can't be so into what you look like that lo
  2. I'm sad to say that I can't control myself. Everytime things are looking a little up and then get a little down again I go and mutilate my face. I even have started to have doubts that I even have acne and not rosacea or something else. I have no idea what's going on at this point. All I know is I'm not doing my regimen(which despite the picking I've been following religiously every day for 6 weeks.) tonight. I give up. Let's see what happens if I don't do anything overnight. Maybe the me
  3. Thanks for the reply, Shortee. My acne was definitely never 'severe' as that implies cysts I believe, but it was most assuradly moderate. We'll see, I'm giving this thing another 4 weeks I think(10 weeks in total). If I'm not clear by then I may need to try something new.
  4. 6th Week: Slight improvement at best.
  5. Are you putting it all over your entire face like BP in the regimen? If this stuff really works you need to make sure you let the world know.
  6. 5th Week: Well things haven't gotten any better this week. It might be mostly my fault as I touched/picked at the beginning of the week and I could be seeing the ramifications of that now. Whatever, I'll have more self control from now on hopefully.
  7. Sounds highly possible for me too, as I match all of those symptoms. If you guys figure anything out, let me know.
  8. Shortee, yes I think it is sad there's not more regimen logs. Kooky, I will stick with it! Nice progress! Number nerd, I had moderate acne, characterized by pustules, never had cysts. I don't want to make you cyncial, but think about it, those anti-biotics kill bacteria, but once you go off of them that bacteria is able to grow back because P. Acnes occurs naturally. It's not a cure. Dermatologists have an interest in keeping you coming back. Dan has no such special interests. He's just
  9. 4th Week: I feel like I am seeing some improvement, but I don't want to jinx it, so I'll just say that things have calmed down. I've changed cleansers yet again to a bar one so I can use one for both shaving and cleansing and it's Basis All Clear. Not quite regimen approved, but it has no salycic acid. Also, I've stopped using moisturizer for the most part, even the regimen approved one really did irritate my skin. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end. But who knows? Anyway I'm stick
  10. 3rd Week: Okay things DID get worse. I probably look even worse than I did a week ago, but ai'm not sure. But you know what? I'm going to stick with it. I'm now using the regimen approved moisturizer from Neutrogena, and the regimen approved Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser. Yes things are horrible, I look disgusting, but the amount of new zits popping up has decreased a little. I see a light at the end of the tunnel.
  11. My skin definitely doesn't feel too bad after BP, but after moisturizer it hurts a bit and I am now using the recommended Neutrogena moisturizer and have been for a few days. Should I maybe use really small amounts or only put it on dry spots?
  12. How many weeks until you just had like 1 or 2 zits.
  13. Thanks for the replys guys. 2nd Week: I guess I'm having the supposed second week breakout. My skin is as bad as when I started the regimen. I guess Dan's right, this is when people consider other options, because I am considering quitting. But another part of me says to give the regimen 6 weeks. I don't know, I've used BP products in the past and they haven't worked too well, so why should this time be different? Well, we'll see. I guess I'm inclined to giving it atleast another week. Bu
  14. 1st Week: Okay things may be a little better, but the red marks look disgusting. I haven't had this bad red marks for a while. Yesterday I went and picked all over and that of course made things worse. Now I'm waiting for the second week breakout. That should be fun... I'm really not sure things are working, I'm taking a wait and see approach. Anybody know a good moisturizer for use with the regimen that reduces red marks?
  15. Tried everything. Clearasil products worked for me the last six months really well, but I'm starting to think that was because I was on anti-biotics too. Because, the last month since I've been off antibiotics my face has completely broken out. So I'm taking control starting today, I'm starting Dan's regimen, following his videos exactly. The only difference is I'll be using Clearasil daily face wash as the cleanser(it's quite gentle and has triclosan to kill bacteria) because I A) have it a
