  1. I received this a few days ago and have used it twice. I've never followed the regimen in the mornings, only at night, so I have been using this as my moisturiser in the morning to combat my acne during the day. I just can't stand using BP during the day, because I am paranoid about bleaching my shirts! I like it so far. I really like the consistency, though the yellow color was a little weird I have very oily skin and sadly this has not helped; my forehead is very shiny a few hours after appl
  2. I just realize the multivitamin I have been taking contains 100% of the RDA of iodine, but I do eat a fair amount of eggs and want to cut out the added iodine. Does anyone know what brands of drug store viatmins do NOT contain iodine? If I look on the ingredients, what is the scientific name for iodine?
  3. I burn SO easily in the summer. I've completely given up the idea of ever getting a tan so instead of trying to tan and getting burned I'm just going to cake on the sunscreen! My question is, all the moisturizers with SPF I have used leave my skin super oily. I have found Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer SPF 70 does does exactly what is says -- leaves my skin matte, not oily -- and it is non-comedogenic. Is it ok to use this in place of moisturizer or I should moisturizer (I use Neutrogena For Men Sensit
  4. Ok...this stuff is.....AWFUL! It is very greasy and stinks; I can't imagine using it in the morning. I used it three nights in a row. It did give me color, but not evenly! Some parts of my face were dark and others were light. Any areas that I had facial hair seemed to get more saturated than others. It looked like I was wearing makeup! I was really disappointed because the three reviews on Drugstore were all positive. This just didn't work for me. I think if you have perfect, evenly-toned skin
  5. Has anyone else used this? I used it the past two nights and am seeing how it works. I'll post an update, but am wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I do know that it's fairly new. I have to admit I'm not impressed so far (seems like certain parts of my face are getting darker than others!) but I'll give it another day.
  6. I used the cream two winters ago and it was wonderful during the cold, dry months. Very moisturizing and soothing...but it made my face incredibly shiny so I stopped using it.
  7. Simply from personal experience, I can't see a direct relationship between the food I eat and acne. I don't think they'll ever be able to "prove" that eating a certain food causes acne, unless you can find a study group with the exact same hormone levels, stress levels, lifestyles, etc. I guess you could say that the foods we eat are reflective of the lives we lead (busy, stressed, fast-paced = more fast/processed food, not true for EVERYONE but generally speaking), but I think it would be too
  8. There are only two foods I avoid like the plague: - Regular soda - White bread Ingredients to Avoid: - Partially Hydrogenated Oils - High Fructose Corn Syrup Both of these are very bad for you. Problem is they are found in so many things, but generally if they are one of the first few ingredients I avoid that food (FYI -- ingredients are listed in terms of how much east is used in the product, from most to least). Really I think you could make yourself nuts with things you should eat and shou
  9. I've been using this ever day and it works! The fragrance smells good and doesn't irritate my skin, althought I would prefer a fragrance free version. After I wash my face in the morning I put on this moisutrizer. If I don't put it on, I get oily skin.
  10. I bought one of these and talk about painful! I tried using it on my nose and it left it red and in pain. The instructions on the package made little sense. It doesn't seem to work for me.
  11. No idea. I haven't noticed any problems. It's the only mositurizer I've used that doesn't look my face look like an oil slick.
  12. I haven't really followed the regimen closely, however, I HAVE followed the basic principles (use Cetaphil cleanser no more than twice a day, use Dan's BP at night, use moisturizer during the day). It has really helped my acne. I still get the occasional pimple but not nearly as often as I used to.
  13. I just tried this new Loreal Mens Anti-Oiliness Moisturizer. Worked GREAT! I get really oily skin and this controls it a lot. I used to have to blot all the time, but now I can go much longer not having to worry that my face is an oil slick. Smells great too! Bottle is a little small, but a little goes a long way. http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...FI-0-EVGR-49973
  14. I want to start the regimen but one thing I am wondering is, how long am I going to have to use BP? I really don't want to be doing this the rest of my life but I am so sick of my acne at this point?? After a few months of the regimen are you able to cut down your BP use? Are you ever able to completely stop using it?
  15. I did check out the suggested moisturizers, however, most of them got iffy reviews on Drugstore.com so I am hesitant to buy any of them. Also most of the reviews said they make the skin really shiny. I already have oily skin so I don't want to worsen the problem. I used Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream a lot last winter and am wondering if that would work well. It's got excellent reviews. Plus it lasted a long time. The only downside is that it doesn't have any SPF. Seems like most of the mosituriz
