  1. I was on Retin-A micro (0.04%) for about two months in late 2011. I can honestly say that the stuff made my skin much, much oilier. I've always had oily skin, but this stuff made my facial oil appear much quicker after washing. I usually go 12-14 hours between showers, so by the end of the day I was more oily than I had ever been in my life. My wife even pointed that out, which is strange. My derm said this was an abnormal response, and it might be--who knows. With that said, the Retin-A defi
  2. Thank you for the video response, Dan. I think this is a clear statement of your dedication to the community, and your willingness to openly address concerns. With that said, the new moisturizer works great only on any areas where heavy BP is not used. I only use BP around my mouth and chin, and I have tried using 5 pumps of the new moisturizer, plus 4-6 drops of jojoba oil, for three weeks. Yet, the flakes remained, most notably when I smiled or ate. I gave it three weeks because I believe tha
  3. I think it is pretty clear what's going on with the new moisturizer. Dan committed to a large quantity of this new moisturizer from the anonymous supplier and now has thousands upon thousands of bottles in inventory. Financially, this was a smart move, as buying in bulk equals less cost. However, this sizable inventory equates to tens of thousands of dollars (probably much, much more) which he doesn't want to waste (i.e., net profit loss). Completely understandable. However, with this in mind, a
  4. I prefer the original moisturizer and really, really wish Dan would bring it back! The new formula doesn't moisturize as well and leaves my skin with this awful yellow tint! This is clear under florescent lighting and is even more obvious is daylight!! Further, the new formula stains white clothing (similar to the AHA+). I really, really wish he would get rid of the yellow, and bring back the old formula. I can handle the shine, just not the yellow stain. Until he gets rid of this product, I'm g

Goes on as easily as the original Leaves skin with yellow tint Stains white clothing yellow Have to use a lot more than the original More expensive initially, not to mention you use more so you need to buy more frequently ($$$) Not as good as the original. Just when I found a moisturizer that worked wonders (i.e., Dan's original), he changes the formula to some yellow junk that is more expensive, tints skin and clothing, and is more expensive. I think he should give th
  6. Thanks for the feedback. A lot of people have told me that the cetaphil moisturizer is good. Maybe it doesn't work for me because an hour after putting it on, or any moisturizer for that matter, makes my skin so oily. But, life goes on. For the presription meds, i have taken all of the orals you mentioned, and have used the topical. It gets frustrating when my skin is even frustrating for my derm.
  7. I have been going to dermatologists for 5 years now. I have been on so many pills and used so many topicals it would be difficult for me to remember all of them. My skin tends to go in waves, from clear to not so clear and my main problem area is my chin. As of right now I am taking Clindamycin HCL 150 mg orally, and applying Benzaclin in the morning and Differin at night. Benzaclin tends to dry my skin out, and if I put too much on it leaves a white sheath over my excessivly dry skin. I began
