  1. I have been on Taurine for about a week and a half (as thats when I started red bull) Started the supplements around 5days ago. Red bull has 1g of Taurine and it tastes very nice! As red bull has around 27g of sugar I only have a small bar of chocolate in the day and a big bar in the night now, to limit the sugar intake. I have gone down from 20mg of zinc to 10mg of zinc, no reason realy just dont want to overdose the body. I have started drinking half a glass of milk morning and night, to a
  2. Dr.G why avoid the shower if you have just been in the pool? lol!!
  3. Taurine can be taken with meals. Your stomach will absorb as much taurine as it wants with a meal or before a meal, so I definately take it with a meal, to avoid any risk of stomach cramps/aggrevation.
  4. If you are going to invest in a soap jwebb I would leave it for adleast a year. Me myself I am not going to use anything other that filtered water and fingertips when I have to. I 100% sure that weight lifting does have a role in aggrevating acne, I myself have stopped, although i have a beach holiday coming up I prefer clear skin! Jwebb try a sugar free red bull or even the normal ones, I stopped all cakes and all chocolate for last week as the red bulls give me the sugar (2 a day) From today
  5. jwebb well done mate good luck and stay strong random I am taking zinc for my whole body if Im honest, as Im lacking of zinc(white marks on nails) I guess its beneficial to take zinc for many reasons, and will keep on taking mthem even if i didnt have acne. With drinking red bulls and I am going to take Taurine, and b complex supplements is hopefuly a temporary situation, not 100% sure yet as Taurine has major benefits within the entire body, and I might keep on with it anyway after getting
  6. No probs jwebb il b on as much as i can. I would say it wud take a good few weeks for your hormones to calm down after the protein shakes that raised your testosterone levels, so make sure you dont take anything out of usual. Do not use the electric shaver as I said just trim if you have to. I would think it would take a month for these 2 things to kick in and get things back to mild. With the zinc do not run into it I would start with 10mg for a few days then 15-20mg daily (maximum) Take a

  8. JWEBB If the acne is still hormonal, I would definately first off all stop the protein drinks and stop eating everything that aggrevates acne. Continue with the caveman regimen, and get your skin healed, even if you still get acne, its better to get it with a nice skin tone than bright red skin. Can't you spare say maybe a few months to a year of your life and live with your acne? But think then when your hormones will die down youl get clear and not break out through diet (which many do as
  9. jwebb I dont know what to say. Im sure your about 21 years old, not 100% though. Do not make the same mistakes I did. Im 24 in July, I should have been clear years ago, but kept pilling topicals on my skin. You have done several mistakes on this regimen. It definately wouldnt work for anyone if they did the caveman regimen the same way as you did. You should have advantages over me as Im a builder and I get in cement dust, old roof dust, grinder dust (list goes on) daily. You used elec
  10. tbone You havent realy done the regimen, you cant say you have done it as you have only done 2 weeks. I started January 10th and I still get pretty bad dry skin, and no it doesnt come in around 2 weeks, more like 4-6 weeks it starts. Thought id just let you know that you have am long way to go and it is hard, whenever you put water on your face and rub, your skin gets weaker and can have a slight breakout. Anyway I hope you dont take this as an offence I just wanted to let you know its a lo
  11. jwebb426 I wouldnt use a razor for shaving anymore, I would buy a electric shaver and use the sideburn trimmer (thats what I do and no irritation at all) Its prob best that you start from scratch jwebb as the apple cider vinegar is harsh and probable take you back to square 1, dnt worry just learn from ur mistakes, let me know of ur progress.
  12. jwebb426 Looking good in the pictures mate. I personaslly think its not a good idea to drink protein drinks, as its better to eat naturally. Also by drinking these drinks it could make an effect on your acne (some of the ingredients) Another vital key I have learnt is that I have been drinking too much fluids. I was drinking around 3 litres of water and a pint of fruit juice a day, by that your body gets flushed, and not just the toxic elements but the goodness your body needs also. Now
  13. Orite random, after the 35 days, I waited 14 days again without touching my face then cut my hair and used filtered water over my hair and face. I am now 9 days in again and to be honest it wouldnt matter if water touched my face now, the face is getting much clearer (red marks fading like mad, skin tone fantastic) every day. ITs now been around 4 months (washed with water around 6 times, realy should be less but things you do sometimes!) I reckon I still need a few more months to get fully r
  14. Electric shaver rule. Just use the side burn trimmer all over your face, does a quality job. Need a good quality shaver though!Phillips I use £136 Mat
  15. Yes your advice is good, but I looked absolutely terrible so took a chance!
  16. random The dead skin mask is all good, skin heals very well underneath it. Skin underneath the dead skin is new, sensitive and weak, so I would honestly try leaving the face mask on for way over a week (if you need to grow a beard go for it, no1 will know of your skin mask) Scraping the dead skin off could result in breakouts as the new sensitive, red skin underneath has not gained its full skin defences so could be open to bacteria etc. jwebb dont worry at all about the oil its all
  17. Random I know mate the dead skin mask is a b**** to get off. I had a huge mask pretty much all over my face, and yes it looked dirty, even my boss said your skin looks awful, I just laughed it off and said its just dead skin. I had a bet with 1 of the guys in work that I wouldnt shave for 35 days (I thought as Im going to leave my beard anyway lets have an excuse to everyone else, so the excuse was the bet, and had 2 pints coming my way, as I knew id win the bet as I was determined!!) It
  18. jwebb426 I have been doing the Caveman regimen for nearly 4 months and I have been through loadsa different stages with small breakouts, but I can say its actualy brilliant at the moment. Getting clearer every day. Hardly any new breakout (90% less than before). I believe my skin is still in its repairing mode so I do not get annoyed if I see a new spot every 7-10days. Youve done a huge mistake going back on topicals, why damage your skin even more, your acne is never going to stop, as wit

  20. No I wouldnt introduce water at all for adleast 28days, leave your face be, dont scrap anything off or dont use your knuckle, you want the oil production to go to its natural self, so if you introduce water its just going to slow down the process, and when I did it even within 2 weeks it just pushed me back and I had outbreaks No my dry skin mask is not oily at all, if yours is you have a long way to go, as the oil is not absorbing through ur face at all. Lots of people reported being oily at
  21. I think you have adleast 2-3 weeks again until yuo will see a good dead skin mask on your face, and then it would take a while for it to fully form, dont peel it off too quickly or introduce water watever you do. I tell you one thing the face looks filthy with the dead skin mask, its very hard to go to work, my boss has comented!!! Ive used no cleaner since january 10th. At the beginning I was doing 14-18 days then swill with water for a while, but kept having 1 or 2 small breakouts. Now I hav
  22. looks lik a lot of dead skin stuck to your face, and yellow in colour, not very nice! But gota be done sometime in your life unless your going to use topicals etc till you die, and keep hving acne!
  23. Yes keepsearching, it would make it pointless, you need to stay off water for adleast 28days, so the skin can renew itself, and gain its acid mantle (skin barrier) that its lost in the last few years from all the topicals you have used and damaged your skin (thats if you have used any) Cheers Mat
  24. Thanks for the advice everyone, I am not sure what io shall do now, but I realy think I should have one wash every 2 months or so Any other opinions please feel free......
  25. Im a builder you see, so im always in dust but since january 10th,only the last week or so my skin starting to look dirty, and I have used cotton wool and water,(25days ago) but it doesnt take enough off and I think the cotton wool damages the skin barrier-acid mantle) SO i honestly dont know what to do, I realy need some kind of cleanser, helppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!
