  1. Hey Newbly I'll recommend the cream form of differin instead of gel form for the following reason(s): 1. Gel form contains alcohol 2. Cream form is slightly more effective in comparison 3. Cream form has abit of moisturizing properties, while gel form may be drying Hope this helps Cheers piggy_balls
  2. Hey Esjay What i'd recommend for removal of blackheads : 1. Baking Soda 2. Gentle Cleanser (eg. Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser) Mix 1 part of baking soda with 1 part of cleanser, and gently scrub areas with blackheads/whiteheads Shld be able to see visible results after 2-3 times of use Hope it works for you Cheers piggy_balls
  3. Yoz Came across an article on a mag the other day on the treatment of 'Mesotherapy'. Basically, that is mainly and widely used for cellulite reduction, spot weight reduction, hair regrowth, AND also for ACNE !!! Hmmm... was just wondering whether does it have any effect on acne scars & redness... Anyone out there know anything abt this relatively new treatment ???   11. thx 13 : i actually agreed wat Elly had said abt terms such as "dermatologist tested" being a gimmick. however it is true that certain products are 'non-comedogenic' or 'oil-free' BUT it is important to read the ingredient list to find out whether it contains irritants such as alcohol or peppermint oil... etc ( the more one shld avoid if one has blemish-prone skin ) fugazi : mixing baking soda + cetaphil cleanser WILL NOT caused any adverse chemical reactions or result. goodgirl, leet &

  15. hi all .... i m currently on accutane ( 2mths more to go ) .... my face ( esp cheek area ) are covered with reddish spots and A FEW shallow, rolling scars ( or just enlarged pores ) ........ i CANNOT WAIT till the end of my course to start on scar removal treatments ...... QUESTION : CAN I PROCEED WITH mircodermabrasion NOW ??? ( heard from many that it can be done immediately after completeing accutane. really need help, pls feedback, suggests or reply !!! thanx tootboy
