  1. I've used EM religiously since May... but I think my skin is starting to get sick of it. I think all the buffing with the brush is starting to make my skin porous and dry because it has certainly changed in texture... Anyway, Clinique and Prescriptives used to be reknowned for making me break out. I'm not sure why but their slippery formulas just tended to wreak instant havoc on my skin. Lancome is surprisingly a decent brand on acne skin... god knows why because it has lots of perfume in it. C
  2. This is amazing. I've been using the sample in fair 1.0 for over a week now and I am totally and utterly in love. No break outs, no irritation, perfect colour match, perfect consistency, great staying power and it looks completely natural. After months of dreadful skin I went out the other night and my friends said "your skin looks fantastic, you glow." Unlike other mineral makeups that contain serecite my skin hasn't become oily or irritated - this stuff is fantastic! And the price is amazing!
  3. Got my samples yesterday! Wore the foundation in Fair and it's the best mineral makeup I've tried. Cory's was too dry and settled into the skin and the colour matches irked me, Earthy Essences broke me out because of the serecite (too much shine pigment.) Anyway, being a self-confessed makeup addict I was so impressed. This stuff applied to my skin so easily, just brushing over the top of redness and flaws, not sinking into pores. It was so amazingly easy to layer and never felt heavy. I wore i
  4. Apparently serecite is irritating to acne skin  . I think EM would be better seeing as it doesn't contain it!
  5. I just ordered some samples, so far so good .
  6. Apparently bacteria is transferred easily by using sponges and brushes. From now on I'll use my fingers!
  7. Your pores seem to be quite clogged, but they don't appear too inflamed. Nonetheless, I'd talk to your GP or derm and ask for their advice. Far more valuable than anything I could suggest!
  8. I just started roaccutane (day 10) and I'm going to do half a pill of a four leaf clover tomorrow. I'm quite confident I won't die.
  9. Day 7. (40 mg) Skin is very red, pores appear smaller. Break outs in different areas... spreading to neck? Mild passing head aches. Loss of appetite.
  10. I am an 18 year old female who has suffered mild to moderate (yet PERSISTANT and unresponsive) acne since age 11. This is my second course of roaccutane/accutane. My acne is by no means severe, and I am not affected by cysts, but when my skin gets inflamed there's no stopping the spread of pustules, papules and whiteheads across my chin and around my mouth area. Lately, I've also gotten a few spots on my cheeks. Prior to my first course of roaccutane I had used Retin-A gel, benzoyl peroxide (in
  11. Funny you should ask. I remember kissing an ex who was on roaccutane. He kept applying lip balm and I always thought it was a a bit weird. His lips were always very chapped and it didn't feel very nice - but his skin always looked fantastic! Hardly helpful, hm ?

  13. Sure, do it! Can't wait to see how your skin'll look at 45 though when all the old damage resurfaces !
  14. I lost weight, I know this for a fact. But then, I'd been on the pill prior to this so I was probably just losing weight altogether. I'm going on another course just now so I'll keep you posted .
