  1. My son had a huge cyst on his cheek. I gave him diacneal to put on it and it was down by morning! All my pores aren't 100% clear but some areas are. Now the whiteheads are only visible right after washing my face. It seemed to have helped my dark under eye circles too and the overall clarity and color....less hyperpigmentation. I use the cold cream soap bar to wash, then spritz on some thermal water. Then the diacneal. I'm satisfied with things as they are now on my face. Now of course since th
  2. Diacneal is working really well for me. My problem has mainly been whiteheads and some methods I've used in the past has worked to get them under control but my skin in the areas that I have the whiteheads(especailly cheeks near nose area) looking not like the rest of my face....a bit irritated and puffy in certain lighting. Finally, with diacneal, my skin is looking good in those areas and the rest of my face is looking great. For once when I wash my face and take off my make-up, there's not a
  3. I've been doing the washcloth exfoliation a long while, right after washing is best....and better is to find a nice window in spot and a magnified mirror so you can see where you need to exfoliate. When I'm done, if I have a lot of flakes I use some tape and remove any flakes. This works really well for me. Sharon
  4. If you're in Canada you might want to try Diacneal by Avene. http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showrev...Acne_Treatment/ Shoppers drug mart carries the Avene line. The thermal water is wonderful stuff. Sharon
  5. Facedoctor really dried out my face. I'm talking desert. May be good for oily skin.
  6. Bumpin this up as I've been using the Aveeno clear skin soap a while now and it's really great. My experience is exactly as yours. Are you still using it Belle? I hope it keeps working. I'm not too optimistic as so many products work for a while then stop. I must say though, this soap has given me better results than anything and without any harshness. Keeping fingers crossed. Sharon
  7. This had stopped being as effective for me. Whiteheads have resurfaced plus I find I'm getting wrinkles from all the dryness. I'm still searching for the right combination. Sharon
  8. Yes, Facedoctor soap is all I'm using right now. I'm pretty amazed that it works just using this soap twice/three timea a day. Sharon This is the ingredients they list at www.facedoctor.ca Neat Soap Flakes, Seabuckthorn (hippophae rhamnoides) oil, coconut oil, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera), glycerin, sodium silicate, astragalus membranaceus, spirodela polyrrhiza, tocopherol (vitamin E), protein hydrolysate, fragrance. Seabuckthorn oil is what kills the mites. Sharon
  9. The first time I tried Facedoctor soap it was an immediate downhill situation. Things got worse daily for me till I just gave up on it. I don't remember just how long I used it the first time but it was after getting some pretty good results from Hibiclens. I didn't want to go back to ground zero so I stopped using it and didn't want to go back to using Hibiclens as I wasn't really comfortable with the eye precautions. This time I really didn't have the purging effect...maybe it was because I us
  10. Facedoctor works! I was really sceptical. I used it at first in combination with differin but only started to see real results when I used it alone and twice a day, sometimes three. I made a few mistakes with it. One was exfoliating first and washing with it after. Another was using Hibiclens after washing with FD. Both caused redness and heperpigmentation to some sensitive areas. I'm still working on fixing problems caused by that. It is very drying but my whiteheads are...dare I say it...gone.
  11. I'm not recommending this for sensitive skin now....though it may be ok for some. It was fine for a day but now it's burning. I have very sensitive skin too. Sharon
  12. I just bought one called Diminish from Shoppers Drug Mart. It was on sale. I've only used it today but it feels good and has a money back guarantee. Sharon
  13. I've never tried it. Which part of the line were you using? It sounds good. I did a search and you can get it online here http://www.feelbest.com/herbal_logix.cfm I found the link on this review http://www.acne.org/rate_item.php?item_id=167 Sharon
  14. Acne includes blackheads. It is not a separate condition. Blackheads, like whiteheads, come back after you mechanically remove them. You then need to keep you pores clear chemically. I'm still trying to get the best combination of products that will clear it completly. I'm glad to see that my and acne.org definition of whiteheads and blackheads are the same. You're the expert though. Crikey. I have nothing more to say.
