  1. I had to share this... So, I started getting this huge cyst between my eyes and tried to get into the Derm for an injection. Well, he couldn't get me in for a week or so, so I did some research which led me to the Zeno Hot Spot. The theory behind it is that it directs heat to the pimple which kills bacteria. I found one at my local Target for around $40, which gives you 80 treatments. Well, I used it on this cyst for 4 times the first day and by the second day it had shrunk and crusted up.
  2. go get a Zeno Hot Spot from Target. Use it 4 times a day and that sucker will virtually disappear.
  3. Even though you're rinsing it off after washing, some of it still sticks to your skin.
  4. I'm getting this done for my SH on Saturday. I am so excited! It's called lamprobe skin classic.
  5. Nice post! I am a vegan and my skin looks nice. I went vegan like 5 months ago. So far, so good. I only eat healthy food. I don't eat raw at all.. just nuts/seeds and salads. thats great, dairy products are the leading cause of acne Wrong. Genetics is the leading (and only) cause of acne.
  6. you can always use Head and Shoulders, which is actually beneficial for acne. That way you don't have to worry about it.
  7. I just posted another thread about hibiclens and that they now provide a pump that causes the hibiclens to foam when it is dispensed. I would highly recommend getting this pump as you don't have to use nearly as much and it is easier to apply. Simply wet face, pump some hibiclens into hand, rub onto face and let it sit for at least 30 seconds. Rinse. Keep out of eyes and ears.
  8. I just got a 16oz bottle of Hibiclens that came with a pump that causes the liquid to foam. This makes it MUCH easier to use in the shower and you don't go through it nearly as fast. Just wanted to let you all know about it.
  9. I'm 40 and still have to treat my acne to prevent it. My dad is 73 and still gets pimples. So, yeah, you could have it your entire life.
  10. I haven't been able to find any reliable data on the long term side effects. My brother has been taking these for acid reflux for over 10 years with no complications. So, I think it's probably fine as long as you don't take more than the daily recommended allowance.
  11. Here's an easier and much faster way: Get a tube of Clean & Clear 10% Persagel http://www.amazon.com/Clean-Clear-Persa-Ge...h/dp/B000052YJL . Squeeze a small amount (less than a dime size) into the palm of your hand. Add a little water then rub your hands together and then rub it over your entire face. Adding the water may dilute it a little, but you're using 10%, so, at the very minimum, you are getting the 2.5% that Dan is using. There is no need to use as much as Dan demonstrates
  12. My Dad still gets acne and he's in his 70's!
