  1. So...I'm a dude. I wear makeup. Had this good shit. No longer made. Have some shit now. People can tell I'm wearing it. I have really bad hyperpigmentation and I want to cover it up. Dermablend covers it good but it looks so fake and pasty on me I feel so trashy not to mention the normal emotions for a guy wearing makeup. Oh it also takes me about an hour to put makeup on trying to blend it all good and what not but it still looks like I'm wearing it. I need some help everyone! I only
  2. Has anyone tried tanning whilst on Accutane? I really want to go tanning in a tanning bed because I hate being pale and I want to hide some of my red marks, but I'm on Accutane. I'd put sunscreen on my red marks and only go for a short time limit each time as to not get burned. Has anyone ever tried this or something like it? What are the real dangers of tanning whilst on Accutane other than don't get burned? Hook a kracker up.
  3. What ARE red marks? Like what are they made up of? I wana get the precise answer so like...let's say they're made up of broken blood vessels. I research what works to heal broken blood vessels and try those things to use on my red marks (that are safe to use on Accutane). I'll be the guinea pig cause my red marks are the only thing bothering me and I need some way to get rid of them, but I'm also taking Accutane. I'll post if anything seems to work and you guys can let me know what these re
  4. Hey this is me whitie. Just a little information about myself and what not. I started getting acne at the start of Sophomore year but it was never big, and while I got medication for it it never bothered me. My acne continued to worsen and get better but it was never bad and I still felt good and confident. Towards the end of Sophomore year I had some red marks but I was tanning a lot so it covered up the rest of them. Over the summer I read that tanning was bad so I stopped all together.

  6. My derm wants to give me Accutane and he's trying to convince me it will help with my red marks...I saw LV Boy's pictures and nearly skeeted my pants thrice thinking about if I had results like his (skin peeled so much that his red marks are no more), but I also hear about how Accutane didn't help peoples red marks and such. I don't know what to do the red marks are killing me and I really want Accutane to clear me for good...I like the idea of acne free skin but I'd prefer red mark free skin m
  7. They there are black marks that scab up and last for about a week or maybe a little longer.
  8. I had PDL done but I don't think I had enough treatments and now I'm going on Accutane. I'm not trying to discourage you from using the lasers; they have worked for some people and might work for you they just dind't work for me. Good luck.
  9. Has anyone smoked weed whilst taking Accutane and experienced something bad? I like marijuana and I don't wanna quit for four months or however long I take it (I know I can I just don't have a lot to do so I smoke). Please, no stories about how smoking is bad and everything, I just want to know if anyone fucked themselves while smoking weed on Tane.
  10. Sorry, I know that this is prolly brought up a lot but I was just wondering when the initial breakout on Accutane tends to come and how bad it is. I'm guessing it depends on dosage and I dunno what the derm will give me but I weigh like, 115. I'm somewhat excited and anxious to start Accutane but I'm afraid of the initial breakout. I rarely get cysts (average one per month and go away without scarring), but I'm afraid the initial breakout will give me cysts or some big gross whiteheads .
  11. Yeah I agree that that's what the problem is, but I've tried lasers and peels and shit to no avail . Oh well...
  12. My mom just talked to my Derm cuz she had a bunch of questions about my red marks and what not and the sun and what to eat vs. what not to eat. In the midst of all of this my Derm suggested Accutane, to which my mom responded that acne wasn't my concern and that the combination of Differin and Doxy has been getting me pretty clear. My Derm said that red marks are caused by a bacterium that is related to acne and that in using Accutane it would kill this bacteria, therefore, helping my red mark
  13. Hey thanks very much yes they did answers my questions. I forgot one of my questions though, did you wear sun screen? And did all of you who tried it and had it work wear sunscreen at the time? Whenever someone says they have great results with a red mark treatment I like to see if it was the sun tanning their fragile un sunscreened face or if they were wearing sunscreen so it was actually the method not the sun working.
  14. I just had some questions about Jessica's exfoliation method... (1) What is it that you exactly do? I've read the thread and I'm still not sure. Do I just use the brush to exfoliate the marks or do I put neosporin on the brush and then exfoliate? (2) What is the neosporin for? (3) Has this irritated anyone's skin? Perhaps leading to irritated red marks or acne? (4) Has this really worked for anyone? I'm doing peels and lasers and micro but they are barely helping at all. I'm looking for
