Why is it better to have less % of Benzoyl Peroxide than it is to have more of it? or it it the other way around?

Hi Yo'll, I was wondering if i could get this bp gel @ walgreens or @ walmart or some place like that? now on this page www.acne.org/regimen.html is says Gentle Cleansing + Plenty of 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide = Clear Skin Ok I have a great which is Neutrogena oil-free acne wash that i use daily & i have Mary Kay acne treatment gel which is has 5% Benzoyl Peroxide Do you think that it will work just as good as the bp gel if i just follow the directions on www.acne.org/regimen-instructions.htm
