  1. Actually it has much less power than the office lasers. The Palovia max power is 15 mJ. Palomar office devices can go as high as 70 mJ.
  2. You can try the Tria laser for your upper lip hair if your skin is not too dark. This is an off-label use for it, but it does work according to anecdotal reports. It's not cheap, though.
  3. I'd look into Retin-A for the acne and the Tria laser (off-label) for the hair growth.
  4. Also, you might want to read this: http://www.drugbank.ca/system/fda_labels/D....pdf?1265922800
  5. For Differin (Adapalene): Medications that are similar to adapalene have caused tumors in laboratory animals who were given the medications and exposed to real or artificial sunlight. It is not known whether adapalene increases the risk of tumors in humans. Protect yourself from sunlight and sunlamps while taking adapalene, and talk to your doctor about the risks of taking this medication. Oh wow xD Good to know.. Also I was wondering if I could use the St. Ives Green Tea Cleanser a

  7. You could try some blue light therapy for the acne. I've been using a Palovia laser on my sebacious hyperplasia and the results seem promising. So far 1 lesion gone and 4 others receding. I zap them once per day. Took about 3 weeks for the first one to give in.
  8. You use it for your face with no break outs? The ingredients don't seem bad.. Yes. It has the same active ingredients as the other "name brand" sunscreens. Why pay more?
  9. Apparently there was a good reason he was available in only 2 days. I'd get a 2nd opinion. My derm always uses a magnifier. BTW - you don't have to agree to let them use your pictures. Just use your pen to put a line through that text and legally they can't do it.
  10. From drugs.com re: Retin-A: Applying tretinoin topical to wet skin may cause skin irritation. If you use Renova, wait at least 20 minutes after washing your face before applying a thin layer of the medication. Do not wash the treated area for at least 1 hour after applying tretinoin topical. Avoid the use of other skin products on the treated area for at least 1 hour following application of tretinoin topical.
  11. Not so. They have full funding. I'm paying taxes in California to pay for the billions to research embryonic stem cells. It does turn out, apparently, that most of that money is going to adult stem cell research anyway because apparently the research is more promising. Did they have full funding during the Bush administration? That's what he's talking about.
  12. I don't know if you'll live long enough for significant evolutionary mutations to occur in your skin, but good luck anyway. PS - love the name Lance Boyle!
  13. I've used the Skin Culture peel. It helped somewhat. You will have a couple days of downtime when the skin peels off, so plan for that if you decide to go with that peel.
