  1. Just a quick question here... Can to much moisterizer make your skin overdry? I'm using the Neutregena Oil-Free SPF15 Moisture and I usually put 1 squirt onto my entire face after I apply the BP. However, someone told me that to much moisturizer can overdry your skin because your skins natural oil glands stop producing due to your skin already being moist. Is this true? My skin is kind of dry, and I'd like to use more moisturizer, but I'm afraid it will just try it more. Any advice
  2. well I was sticking with the Purpose Bar for a while but it eventually became to dry so I tried the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser Wash, which immediatly stopped my face's dryness. It still a little dry, but not unbearable as with the Purpose.
  3. are alpha-hydroxy moisturizer's better, and what do they do?
  4. are rotary razors better? can normal razors cut the acne if there are bumps around the hair?
  5. i've had that same problem, i've just been putting moisturizer on top of it. but i don't know if this is the right thing to do. what does everyone else think?
  6. is anyone here using the purpose gentle cleansing bar Dan recommends? I've been using it and i think its making my skin dry. my skin is really dry right out of the shower. is this normal? i am moisterizing with dan's neutrogena's oil-free moisturizer
  7. it should be fine i guess, it's the one that dan recommends
  8. ok, here it is: after i wash my face, no burning. after i put either BenzaClin or the Retin-A-Micro 0.1% Gel, no burning after i put on the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer, BURNING! it has only been a few days, how much longer until the burning stops??
  9. i've been on it for almost a year putting it on at bedtime.... using the 0.1 RAM gel. i think its helping control the whiteheads, but its definitely not getting rid of it.
  10. Sometimes I wonder when I sleep if laying my head on its side aggravates my acne. Although I do know some people lay on their back so their face isn't on the pillow. Also, does anyone know if you should wash your pillow often, like once a week? :-k Thanks! Craig
  11. the one that dan recommends. Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 15. also make sure you put it on AFTER you apply your acne medicine so the medicine will seep in. I don't think you can really have to much, with this cream probably 1 squirt from the bottle is enough, but 2 is the max.
  12. i've always wondered if sleep affects acne, but have found nothing when trying to research it. some nights i would get a lot of sleep and notice an improvement on my acne, but it could just be the meds. I'm taking BenzaClin in the morning, and 0.1% Retin-A-Micro Gel at night. Before I apply the cream I gently wash w/ with Dan's Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar, and then after I apply the cream I use Dan's Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer. (kinda burns for 5mins) Anyways, does anyone notice th
