  1. i thought retin-a helped with wrinkles, if it made you age sooner, how could it help with wrinkles? I looked up hayflick limit on the internet and apparently it makes you age sooner.
  2. Ive been on it for 3.5 months.. my acne isnt really active anymore, its just red marks now. A lot smoother, its sooo good to feel a jawline and not a whole heap of cysts along it. I think I really noticed the difference coming to the end of the second month. I'm half way through the third month now. Hopefully it keeps getting better. I want this Retin-A to hurry up and do its job and get rid of those red marks! I have had no side effects at all and I am prone to anxiety/depression. I used to t
  3. I've been using Retin-A for about 2 weeks and have noticed an improvement but am well aware that a lot of other people use a lot of other things while on it. My doctor didnt prescribe me anything else, but he is a dickhead who didnt even know what Retin-A was.. I went in told him what it was and asked for it. All he did was read off the computer screen what the product description was. Anyway so he didnt prescribe anything with it so what is best to use with it? Can I use tea tree wash? or Er
  4. Ive been on it for almost 2 and a half months all my cysts are gone now i only have tight whiteheads that come and go in a day. Still have HEAPS of scars/red marks. Hopefully these will go away with Retin-A, which I have been using for about 2 weeks now.
  5. Was your skin really bad before Retin-A? Does your skin look very clear now?
  6. Those who have used Retin-A I was wondering, how long did it take for you to notice an improvement with red marks and scars? I've been using it for nearly a month and my skin is red and peely and breaking out, although the pimples are smaller but that is probably because of Yasmin. Do I stay in Retin-A? Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Someone told me the itching meant they were healing. It is best not to touch them at all, but sometimes I must admit I forget about the pimples at times when thinking of something else, and just scratch by accident. Try not to touch them.
  8. i used it for about 8 months or so and it was a piece of crap i kept using it because everyone said it takes months to work but it just made me get a new pimple every day i woke up wondering how bad my skin would be for the day, every day. it is crap, crap, crap!!!!!!!!!!!! Started using Retin-A two days ago and have noticed an improvement.
  9. I've been on Yasmin for 2 months. I have dealt with depression and anxiety before and used to be on antidepressants and was concerned yasmin would bring this back, but it hasnt happened. I've had no noticable side effects. It didnt work straight away for my skin, and since I was using differin as well, I was breaking out. Now I am starting to notice it all die down. I think it peaked last week. Hopefully it will be good from now on in!!! *Fingers crossed*
  10. i was prescribed differin (cream) and eryacne. I tried it for about 8-10 months and it did nothing. I broke out more and more every day. Every time I woke up I wondered how many pimples I would have for the day. Terrible, terrible stuff. I kept with it because everyone said it takes months to work. Well, I gave it months and it caused nothing but embarrasment and pain. I started using Retin-A two days ago and it has already made my pimples flatter and not as red.
  11. When my skin started breaking out I thought I would get them in their tracks and do micodermabrasion. I had a series of facials, and then I had 10 microdermabrasion treatments, one every fortnight. I regret it soooooooo much it cost a fortune, did nothing, and I have scars from that time. I wanted to hid for the whole time and each time I went back they told me it would work after more treatments. Money hungry liars.
  12. What happened with this? I've just started using it and have noticed results overnight. Was using differin for about 10 months - piece of crap medication!
