  4. I'm 19 and I have mild(?) or moderate acne. I never had this before. Just a few pimples whenever it's the time of the month. It somehow spread last year. I'm gonna start the regimen soon. These are the products I just purchased: Facial Cleanser - Cetaphil Cleansing Bar, Unscented - Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Wash Moisturizer - Neutrogena Moisture SPF 15 Benzoyl Peroxide - PanOxyl 2.5% BP Acne Gel (I really can't find the Neutrogena one, what other BP can you recommend?) I'm n
  5. synz: Yeah, I will stick to Cetaphil. I'm having second thoughts about the BP... :-k I'm not much of a water drinker... but I'll follow the 8 glasses a day routine if water really helps. I also think exercise helps a lot. I used to play volleyball but stopped because I got so busy with school and other stuffs. And that was my only exercise. I guess I have to engage into sports again. When I got to move around and sweat a lot, I had clear skin. Is there a connection with me having acne now?
  6. Okay so I only have to get a good BP cream and a moisturizer. I think I'm gonna buy the Cetaphil moisturizer so it will be compatible with my cleanser. I still have to look for that BP. Hmmm... Why not PanOxyl? I'm really curious because of your reaction. You sound like you had a really bad experience with it. :-s The active ingredient is also 2.5% BP, right? The difference is it's a gel, not a cream and should be applied once daily. I wanna know what will happen if I use it. Please tell me.
  7. What do closed comedones look like? 8-[ Mine look like small grains that can easily be pricked by fingernails. And when you prick them, there's like grain inside... like hard pus or something. I also got some on my back but I don't really care coz they're not as bad as those on my face.
  8. Thanks for the advice. O:) So I do have acne but it's in the mild stage? That's comforting to hear, I think. I don't wanna wait for it to became any worse. Yes, I'm using a facial cleanser, Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser wash. I started using it for almost a week. Haven't seen any results though. Just no new pimples. But the blemishes are still there. Should I shift to Clearsil? Should I also try using BP and spread it all over my face? I'm really afraid to try. Has anyone tried PanOxyl? Can't
  9. That's a lot of medications. Just be patient. I hope your regimen will work wonders on you. O:) I, myself, haven't really got oily skin. I had derma once and I'm not going back again. The doctar gave me products that just irritated my skin and caused a breakout. I also applied stuff that contained tea tree oil and licorice and those astringents that are so prickling. No effects. Herbal soaps, too. I still can't find Neutrogena On the Spot. Have you tried PanOxyl 2.5% BP Acne Gel before? I have
  10. I'm not using any acne treatment on my face right now but I plan to. I just use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Wash whenever I wash my face for almost a week now. So far, I haven't got a new pimple but all my blemishes are still there. I haven't applied treatment on my face for quite a long time because I worry about breakouts. I just used soaps that are mild or clear. My face remained the same and I thought I should not wait for them to go away. I should do something about it. These red marks ar
  11. I have whiteheads on my forehead, chin, cheeks, and the sides of my face. I have blackheads on my nose. I have few pimples on my cheeks and on some parts on my face. What should I do? What OTC products can you recommend? Should I use Benzoyl Peroxide to treat them? I'm afraid I will just have a breakout and my blemishes will worsen. :?
  12. I think we have the same type of facial problem. I have more whiteheads than actual pimples because they are really small and I can easily prick them with my fingernails. I also have blackheads on my nose. I don't know how to treat them though. Everything that I tried backfired. How are you treating them? Did you follow Dan's Regimen exactly? Please tell me. [-o<
  13. I'm having doubts in starting any regimen for acne because I'm not even sure if I have the disease. :-k Yeah, I have pimples and blackheads, too, but they aren't really big and noticeable if I apply make-up. The thing is, my right cheek has the worst scenario. It has red spots and few small pimples there. The red spots used to be pimples, too. I also have scattered small pimples on my forehead and chin. Blackheads cover my nose and its sides. Is this already acne? What can you recommend
