  1. Keep positive, please. I myself understand how hard it is to have skin issues. Your skin is not even close to severe, although I can see why you would feel that way because you just recently began to break out. You still have plenty of time to outgrow this pain, don't give up just yet!
  2. That's what I thought too! Until I came to the internet. LOL.
  3. No problem If your dad outgrew it then you are very likely to do the same. Do you know what age he grew out of it? That might give you a rough guideline but as I said at 17 you still have plenty of chance of growing out of acne at some point in the future anyway. You have every reason to be hopeful! As do you! My father had acne from 17-23... it was pretty bad too from what Ive heard! I started getting zits at 11, but I am sure that is only because I went into puberty earlier than he did.
  4. This is exactly what I was worried about which is why I'm picking a fight when usually I always stay on the sidelines. Please don't be paranoid. I swear to you there are plenty of women who grow out of acne and you're only 17 so you have plenty of chance for doing so yet. Like I said in an earlier post, I have had a lot of female friends who have grown out of their acne at any age from about 16 to 20 and at 21 I'm personally hoping that it's still possible to do so after that age! I think it dep
  5. RIGHT! It's so hard having acne when all your friends have clear skin It is really difficult. Comparing is never a good thing though and no matter how others perceive me, I always find myself at the bottom of the heap. Well let's think of it this way... we may outgrow our acne later, but maybe we'll get wrinkles later. All our friends will be 70 and all wrinkly, while we still have dewy, radiant, youthful skin! That's very true! My dad is 51 this year and his skin is amazing! He suffered

  7. I'm sadly incredibly gullible so this makes me paranoid.
  8. Hey don't give up hope just yet..my dad grew out of it at 23:) his face is flawless now. 20 is still young..
  9. Hey I'm just curious... I'm 17 with acne and I started breaking out at 11.. My mothers side of the family has no acne whatsoever. My dad grew out of it at 23, and started getting acne at 17. I'm pretty much scared from what I read online that ill have this for life. is it genetic to have it going into your 30's... 40's? Because my genes just show it ends after puberty..
  10. Thank you! I think the regimen might be a good treatment!
  11. I got told since I'm a woman I'm going to have acne for life. That's not true for every case right? Because I know many women myself who have never been bothered by acne after their teen years..
  12. Aww okay thanks guys you have given me some hope :') the regimen really has been working so far! Will continue it for sure!
