  1. Every great product I've been referred to has been something out of the country with no way to ship it here to consumers in the states. Why is that?? It seems like every over-the-counter face wash and moisturizers have big skin no-nos in them. Not cool America, not cool. A great example would be French Dalibour Water (also found in Mexico). I've heard it is practically a miracle cure for a lot of skin problems. That and some sort of zinc ointment. Does anyone know of a product

    The Regimen And Dark Spots

I have such a bad time with dark spots too, I feel your pain! The regimen doesn't do much for the dark spots, unless you incorporate Dan's AHA+ lotion.. That is definitely something to try out. I would not overuse the stuff because that can cause definite irritation but you need to try the stuff!!! Almost a miracle cure really. I saw results the morning after using it at night. And really great results the following weeks. Let me know if you try it out and how it works for you!
  3. That's what I feel like I'm doing! Flip flopping back and forth through my favorite products. But I have found what works best for ME. I can't help it, I'm in LOVE with Clean & Clear's Sensitive Foaming Facial Cleanser. It does such a wonderful job cleaning my skin and when my skin has been clear I have been using this stuff. I was really digging Carley's Clear and Smooth products but found that it was a little too harsh for me and that whatever progress my skin had made was before u
  4. All I know is that my immune system is (or was-hopefully) shot and I have had acne, allergies (skin and food intolerances), tonsillectomy, bells palsy, a hernia, acid reflux, you name it. I was breastfed.. The connection between the immune system and all of that is quite farfetched. If that's the case then why don't humans breastfeed their whole lives? It's all in your genes and environment, not whether or not you were breastfed as an infant. Let's all get real. I do agree that wh

    O_O

I slept with my makeup on for the first time in MONTHS. So you can imagine the horror I felt waking up! But to my surprise.. clear face!!! I was thinking that Tarte's Amazonian full coverage makeup foundation was irritating my skin but now I think it's safe to wear. I won't do it ever again but it was great to see smooth skin this morning. I still have a few blemishes but they're not too terrible. I didn't use the BP last night so I'm thinking I should do it every other night to gi
  6. I stopped using crappy makeup, and while I liked the mineral makeup I purchased from Alima Pure.. it's just not enough coverage. So I went to Sephora and picked myself up some Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation and continue to use a Physician's Formula powder. My skin looks pretty great with the two, but I would still like to be using products with more natural ingredients. I still use Carley's Clear Skin line and really like it. I had wonderful skin about a week back

    I Went To The Dermo!

That's great that you got to the dermatologist! I haven't been in years. Beware of antibiotics over a long period of time but know that they help acne greatly!! I personally don't like Cetaphil's face wash but I loooooove their moisturizer. I like Clean & Clear's Sensitive Foaming Facial Cleanser or Purpose cleanser! Keep up with your blog and I hope that you find exactly what works for you!!
  8. You're on to a few great things here. I purchased a dermaroller (1.5mm) a year ago and still have never opened the package because I feel like I'm gonna screw my entire face up! Plus, you're not supposed to use it if you have active acne. And stress is a major factor in your health, skin included. Whatever it takes to get you in a good mood.. exercise, eating right, singing, whatever you need to do. Who doesn't want to be happy anyways? Has anyone here ever tried drinking Apple Cider Vinegar

    Done With Paula's Choice..

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/triclosan/AN02141 < here is a great link.. Triclosan is an antibacterial agent. It's not known to harm humans, but basically it can really eff up your immune system with extended use (mine sucks already) and kill good bacteria. It's always a bad idea to kill germs that your body should be fending off on their own. Thanks for the tips!! I actually bought the Tarte full coverage foundation in a lighter shade and I really love it!! I've been looking for a BB
  10. Oh.. my.. god. I have FINALLY found something that produces consistent results... I bought their acne treatment (that comes with a full size soap bar and samples of their moisturizers - all AMAZING) and am speechless. It has BP in it, so I was wary but after seeing their guarantee and plentiful reviews I felt great purchasing it. I'm wondering if anyone here has ever tried their stuff?? It was free 2-day shipping and all of their ingredients are pure and non-acnegenic. M

    Moisturizer Ideas

And how! I hated their cleanser and steered clear from them for a while but found that it's the only lotion that doesn't break my face or body out. It's wonderful. :3 they have SLS in it, which is 5 rated comdegenic Their moisturizer doesn't have SLS in it.. that's a cleaning agent and would be found in a cleanser.

    Maybe It's Dairy, Not Gluten?

Yeah, that soy "cheese" crap is terrible. Doesn't even melt. Haha but I looooooove almond milk! I try to get the unsweetened kind, but I can't resist the Vanilla Sweetened one!! I think I need to cut out all processed foods. I just get so anxious and overwhelmed.. but really it's quite easy! I just need to eat mostly veggies, some brown rice, a small amount of fruits, and see how I feel. Even cut out nuts and soy to see if they're a problem. Gotta love the experimenting we go through!
  13. Well, I'm back to using my Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Cream face wash.. I couldn't be more satisfied. How could a cleanser make a woman so damn happy?!?! I will continue to use my homemade green tea toner as it seems to be calming my skin down and when I wake up I have fairly healthy looking skin (I'm getting there). My acne is to a minimum, and that's after BP and SA had their way with my pores! :S On another note, I can't wait to receive the samples of this Alima Makeup I
  14. Try Alima Pure! Seriously, it's the only thing I can use that doesn't break me out. You can get trial sizes from their website really cheap. You're amazing!! That's much cheaper than Ultra Pure and they seem like a wonderful company! Ordering my samples as I type this. Thanks a million

    Apples Give Me Cystic Acne

Right, I think most people wouldn't benefit from such an allergy test. I have terrible (and visible) allergies constantly.. my skin is slightly pink/flush at all times and it is triggered even further by heat or other allergens. It only started last year around the time I started cutting out gluten, strangely enough. I've tried to pinpoint exactly what causes it and it really only drives me more mad to play detective. Some can get intolerance testing, but that isn't 100% and can be very costly.
