  1. Thanks guys, I know that baldness doesn't seem like a big deal (and it might not be) but I'm just so disappointed that I can't even go 3 months looking the way I want to look. I like the way I look with hair, and I'm not sure if I have the bone structure to look good with a shaved head. I know that baldness is my destiny, right now I'm just trying to stave it off as long as I can. I'm going to try to see a doctor as soon as I can and hopefully they'll prescribe some Propecia/Proscar for me.
  2. Ah...you probably thought this was going to be a happy, uplifting story. Well, ever since I was 12 or so I have been suffering from acne. As everyone else here can probably relate to, the acne destroyed my inner self-worth and I spent the majority of my teenaged years in utter hell. Just this year (I'm 19) I finally began to clear up without having any more breakouts, my life blossomed. I had all the confidence in the world, women seemed to be swarming me, I finally had life under my control
  3. I'm pretty sure that I have hormonal acne; although I see a lot of popular treatments for women, I haven't found any for men. Does anything exist to treat hormonal acne in men, or can it not be controlled since androgens are needed for our sex characteristics?
  4. I think that food definately does effect acne, I don't think that it's just coincidence that whenever I have coke/chips/chocolate I break out.
  5. I've been on minocycline before, at first I think it does help a lot, but I also think that the bacteria will sooner or later become immune to minocycline.
  6. I tried it last night, it did seem to help.
  7. I also quit drinking soft drinks about one year ago; I noticed a marked difference in that I rarely brake out anymore. Who knows, maybe it's just a coincidence.
  8. Can someone sum up the last 25 pages of posts for someone who doesn't want go though it all? :D/ How much do you need to dilute the vinegar before applying? Does it smell bad? Has anyone had negative effects from using vinegar? I'm sure these questions have been asked before, but I'd appreciate it if someone could gimme a response
  9. What exactly is a scar? What are the different types of scars? What's the difference between red marks and scars? Are there pictures anywhere that I can look at to see what scars look like? I'm confused as to what exactly I have. Also, I heard a lot of people having success with the whole lemon/vinegar treatment; is this useful for red marks as well?
  10. Does Vita K work well with people of darker skin. I have light brown skin and have some red scars on my right cheek, will the Vita K cause anymore decoloration. Any help would be appreciated
