I had never heard of Accutane in the million times I went to see my GP about my skin, only after I went to a special clinic did they suggest it. I think GP's are wary when prescribing it especially to people who have problems with depression due to it being a possible side effect- none of them want to be held responsible for making things worse. Although this is frustrating, its something to think about.
