  1. Hi Zimi!  Hope you are you having a happy holidays!  Do you reside in Houston?

  2. Day 42 Hi guys! So sorry for the delay in posting my before/after pics. The before picture is a little embarrassing to look at because my acne at that time was definitely the worst that it's ever been. This was taken during the first week of taking D3 and I had just washed my face, so the breakouts were red and irritated. You can see I had a lot of bumps on my forehead, on and between my brow area and my chin. I also started getting breakouts near my smile lines, which had creeped into my ch

  4. Day 35 So it's been over a month since I started taking D3 and my acne is so so so much better. I was supposed to take pictures last week, but I've been so busy when I get home from work that I forget. I'll put a reminder on my phone and hopefully post them this week so everyone can see the amazing results. My acne has definitely lessened, but there is one thing I should point out. I feel like my body has gotten accustomed to the D3. When I first started taking it, there was practically
  5. Day 21 So, I've been consistently taking D3 supplements for about 3 weeks now and my skin has definitely improved. However, early last week, I was going through a really tough time emotionally which made me breakout some near my hairline, forehad and smile lines. Despite the breakout, I continued to take 3 dry tabs daily and those bumps are drying out. Overall, my skin is healing, but there does seem to be a stubborn area near the right side of my jawline which is taking longer than the
  6. I'm taking Nature Made dry tab vitamins (1,000 iu) that I bought at my local grocery store. Didn't feel like waiting to get them shipped to me from an online website.
  7. Hmmm....there's a lot going on in this thread, especially with the "women will have acne their whole lives" deal. I'll throw in my two cents. I am a woman. And, yes, I have struggled with acne since puberty. HOWEVER, throughout my many years of dealing with it and talking to my friends and family, I've personally seen many women who had acne and successfully suvived it for the long term or even permanently. Unfortunately, there may not ever be a one cure-all treatment plan because the fa
  8. That's too bad it makes you breakout. But, I definitely hear you about it helping with depression. I've been prone to both anxiety and depression for years and it's been great at making me feel more positive, hopeful and less lethargic. Day 8 Couldn't be happier with where my skin is heading! I still have some sparse pimples, whiteheads and blackheads but it's nowhere near what it was like just a week ago. The breakouts on my forehead, chin and jawline seem to be healing pretty quick with no
  9. Day 6 So I've been taking D3 for almost a week and I've seen some pretty positive results. I have seen a decrease in oil production beginning on day 3 and I'm happy to say that the oil production has lessened even more so. I usually always wake up with a ton of oil on my face, but lately the sebum is lightly confined to my t-zone. It's pretty much the same result after I get home from work. I used to have to blot several times a day, but now I only have to do it late afternoon and there's no
  10. Acne History I am a 27 year old female and I've had acne since I was about 13/14 years old. Like most of you, I've tried so many products and prescriptions ranging from topical/oral antibiotics, birth control, salicylic acid, retin-a creams, bp gel, jojoba oil, organic diet, gluten-free diet and the list goes on! All of these things either clear me up temporarily or they don't work at all. Only thing I've not tried is accutane, but I really don't want to mess with it as I'm already prone to
  11. Day 4 on D3 Hi guys, This is my fourth day on D3. I am taking 3,000 (dry tabs) iu per day with a meal. I've not noticed any difference in the breakouts yet (still really early), but I think there has been a slight difference in the production of sebum. My skin is usually severe with oil and gets slick within one to two hours every morning after washing my face, but the last couple of days the oil doesn't appear until the afternoon. I'm hopeful it's a result of the D3, although, I live i
  12. Just got word today from my doctor that I have a vitamin d deficiency. I was given the same results from a blood test last year, but I don't think I took the supplements long enough to notice or recognize a difference in oil production or breakouts. Plus, it was a prescription so I don't know if that was the reason why since it was probably d2, not d3. I'm a 27 year old woman and I've had acne since I was about 13/14 years old. It usually bounces back and forth from extremely moderate to mod
  13. Hello, Almost two weeks ago, I was introduced to a skincare line called Seacret, which is a line of products with ingredients directly from the dead sea. My boyfriend's friend had us over for a spa party and we got to play around with a bunch of products. One of the products was called a "mud soap" that supposedly was designed to clear up an assortment of skin issues -- one being acne. I was skeptical because not much has worked for me (and my boyfriend - we both suffer from breakouts).
