  1. Thank you, I thought it would be overkill as well. Yeah i've looked into spot treatments before but I don't know how it would work, I mean we have to use it when the pimple's already there right, so what's the "point"? Does it just go away overnight after we spot treated it?
  2. (Hello!) if I barely have acne, I used to have moderate acne a few years back during puberty, but growing up and with the right products I've gotten rid of it (I'm 20 now), but I still have a pimple every now and then (and they're really annoying), usually red under-the-skin bumps, mostly right below the temple area (1cm below the area between the eyes and the ears) and the chin (but they're smaller in the chin area) with overall redness in those areas as well. i also have hyper pigmentation
  3. Oh wow someone didn't do their homework before using GA. It is known to make you break out badly, especially at higher concentrations. All there is left to do now is wait (time solves everything!) and use moisturizer/repair creams, I don't think I'm allowed to link, but I'd gladly send it to you via MP. I'm thinking a cream from Avene in particular
  4. Standard go to if it's the first time you've had acne

I remember this is like the first product I bought when I started having acne a long time ago. Mostly because that's what you can find on store shelves. It didn't do wonders, but I know people who swear by it, their acne was usually caused just by a lack of face routine and this fixed it by introducing one. Price is reasonable for quantity, smell is pretty ok. Might not be a good idea to use it if your skin is sensitive and it's probably not going to work on cystic acne, but worth a try.
  5. Do not use unless your face is really dry

As this is an oil, your face will break out hard if you don't have really dry skin. Got that from experience, never again. Too bad cause the actual ingredients are pretty good to treat scaring, and it's not that expensive either.
  6. As expected

Didn't have any particular effects from this (neither positive or negative). Makes your skin feel fresh for like a minute or two afterwards but that's all. I like the smell. I'm not sure I would recommend this cause you can find better ones for the same price.
  7. Expensive

I bought this with a giftcard otherwise I would have never paid what they sell it for! Anways, I've tried it for a few weeks and it made me break out hard. I didn't see any improvements with scaring either but I might not have tried it for long enough. The packaging is really neat and classy, and the cream itself smells really good (imo). However, I wouldn't recommend this cream anyways because of its price ($60 and plus) for such a small amount. There's better for cheaper.
  8. Best organic cream I've tried

So, I've been battling acne for the past 7 years, I usually buy treatments full of ingredients with unpronounceable names but every now and then I try more organic creams. My latest find was this cream by Genki. I couldn't find much info about it but as it's not too expensive for an organic cream I thought I would try it. And thank god I did. After the first week or so the usual redness on my face was almost completely gone. I've been using it for almost 3 weeks now and I haven't broken out (ye

The smell ? Expensive for a tiny bottle Doesn't last long Hasn't done anything I've been using it for 2 weeks now, the #2. Hasn't done anything to my scars. I'll try the #3 and I'll see. I've not even peeled lol

Really works One bottle lasts long Cheap Is not fully efficient against scars I've been using it for almost 2 months now. My scars lightened after 3 weeks of usage. They've like 50% less visible now, some disappeared, but the product doesn't do anything anymore. I guess my scars are heavier than what I though lol but still 50% is a lot. I recommend this.
